Ice Cold. Helppi Beats Torelli.

Didn't Need Any Helppi From The Board.
Didn't Need Any Helppi From The Board.
And it's all over in a case of heads up cold-deckness...

Torelli was all-in, just covered by Helppi, Alec exclaiming, "Are you ever shoving light there? Am I always drawing dead?"

The reason was because:

Torelli: {10-Diamonds} {10-Spades}
Helppi: {A-Spades} {A-Clubs}

The flop came {9-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {6-Clubs} and Torelli hopefully requested, "Seven?" but it did not look fruitful on the {K-Hearts} turn.

Torelli though said with a smile, "I feel like I'm going to get there..."

But the river was the {K-Diamonds} and Helppi had his opponent covered by a couple of thousand chips, the flying Finn makes it to the final!

Gaining Info

Torelli limped in and Helppi checked.

The flop was {K-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {10-Spades} and Helppi fired out 800. Torelli called but the two checked the {4-Hearts} turn and {8-Clubs} river down.

Helppi showed {7-Hearts} {3-Hearts}, but Helppi had always been ahead before hitting a pair with {Q-Spades} {8-Clubs}.

Alec Torelli Eliminates Tony G

With the blinds 400/800, Tony G moved all-in for about 12,000. Alec Torelli instantly called.

Alec Torelli: {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}
Tony G: {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}

The board came {J-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {4-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} and Alec Torelli joins Juha Helppi, James Sudworth and Vladmir Geshkenbein in the semifinals.

And We're Back...

Tony G has changed his top to a green one.

"Colour of my sponsors, luck of the Irish!"

He's picked up the first couple of pots and increased his stack to 12,200 so maybe the luck is shifting his way.

Break Time!

Just before the break Tony G raised to 1,500 but Torelli set him in, forcing Tony G to fold.

Torelli also took down a limped pot with a bet of 800 on a {3-Clubs} {5-Spades} {5-Clubs} board.

Torelli has 59,000 to Tony G's 11,000 and it's looking like an uphill struggle for the latter at the moment.

More For Torelli

Torelli fired out 2,300 on the river of a {4-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {K-Clubs} board and Tony G raised to 7,000.

Torelli thought for a couple of minutes before calling. Tony G showed {A-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} but Torelli flipped {5-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} and the former tapped the table at the call.
