Sudworth Pulls One Back

Alec Torelli raised to 2,700 on the button and James Sudworth called.

The flop came {2-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {5-Spades} and Sudworth check-called a sizeable overbet of almost double the pot before both cehcked the {10-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds} river.

Sudworth flipped {A-Spades} {8-Diamonds} to win. He's back up to 50,000 but Torelli still has 110,000.

Torelli Pushing More Ahead

Alec Torelli is pushing James Sudworth further into trouble.

Torelli called bets of 2,000 and 8,400 on the turn and river of a {7-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {J-Clubs} board after both checked the flop.

Sudworth showed {A-Spades} {5-Spades} but Torelli had {A-Clubs} {8-Clubs} for a chop.

Soon after Torelli raised to 2,000 and Sudworth made it 6,000. Torelli then set him in and Sudworth folded instantly.

The Stakes Increase...

The £100 for the occasional hand has now become £200 a hand with Torelli currently up £300 on this.

They're constantly changing the rules with each hand.

Sudworth just open pushed for about 44,000 and then showed {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}. "I just wanted you to snap with anything if you got something..."

Torelli meanwhile is just glad they're not playing winner takes all.

"I just don't want to go home with nothing having..."

"Having lost to a guy who has drunk too much Jagermeister?" interrupted Sudworth.

Torelli still holds about a 3:1 lead in chips.

7-2 Anyone?

Torelli and Sudworth are playing the 7-2 game, and have £500 set on anytime either of them win a pot with 7-2.

They've also played an occasional £100 a hand all when Torelli has had the button, but despite that, Sudworth has won on two of the three occasions.

Sudworth has been the slightly more aggressive so far and probably has a slight lead.

Vladmir Geshkeinbein Eliminates James Sudworth...

With the blinds 800/1,600 Sudworth raised to about 4,000 and Vladmir Geshkenbein moved all-in. Sudworth quickly called.

Sudworth: {A-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}
Geshkenbein: {Q-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}

The flop came {K-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} and Geshkenbein moved in front.

"Give him a six or an ace so we can keep playing!" said the Russian.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and the river was the {Q-Spades}.

The two players hugged and Geshkenbein said, "I'm sorry."

"No you're not!" laughed Sudworth.

"You're right I'm just saying it for TV..." agreed Geshkenbein.

So the final will be between Juha Helppi and Vladmir Geshkenbein but first there will be a 3rd/4th place playoff between James Sudworth and Alec Torelli.

And On...

Geshkenbein raises to 2,700 and Sudworth calls, stating "I'm set-mining."

The flop is {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} and Sudworth check-calls a bet of 2,800 on the flop.

Both checked the {6-Diamonds} turn before Sudworth check-raised a bet ot 8,000 on the {6-Clubs} river to 20,000.

Geshkenbein called with lighting speed and Sudworth was forced to show a counterfeited {5-Spades} {5-Clubs}.

The Russian flipped {Q-Diamonds} {7-Spades} and jumped out of his chair laughing, "Owned! Owned! Don't bluff-raise me!"

Sudworth laughed back, "I know, I know, you owned me hard...Where's your girlfriend when I need here?"
