Snapping With King-High

Helppi raises to 4,500 and Geshkenbein calls.

The two players check the {4-?} {4-?} {3-?} {J-?} {5-?} board to the river where Helppi bets 6,000 and Geshkenbein snap-called.

Helppi showed {10-?} {8-?} but was beaten by his opponent's {K-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}.

Helppiful Board

Helppi raises to 5,000 and Geshkenbein flat-calls.

The flop of {A-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} is checked by both players.

Geshkenbein fires 7,000 on the {5-Clubs} turn and 18,500 on the {2-Hearts} river. Helppi calls the first bet but looks confused at the second one, taking off his glasses. Eventually and somewhat out of curiousity, Helppi calls and gets shown {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} for his trouble.

The Russian has the chip lead.

Chip Count

Helppi holds a slight advantage in chips with 164,000 to Geshkenbein's 156,000 now.

Interestingly the Russian has raised every single button so far, not folding once.

Another For Helppi

Juha Helppi raised and Geshkenbein flat-called from the blinds.

The Russian check-called a bet of 5,000 on the {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} flop but folded when Helppi bet 10,000 on the {2-Hearts} turn.

Blinds have moved up to 1,000/2,000.

River A Bein To Helppi?

Geshkenbein raised to 5,000 and Helppi called.

Both players checked the {A-Clubs} {4-Spades} {5-Diamonds} flop before Helppi check-called a bet of 6,500 on the {Q-Spades} turn. The river was the {3-Spades} and this time Helppi checked and Geshkenbein bet 15,100 declaring, "You have to fold, I have a deuce or a flush..."

Helppi, after much thought, did muck his hand.

One For Helppi

Juha Helppi raises to 4,000 and Vladmir Geshkenbein calls.

The flop is {Q-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {9-Hearts} and Helppi bets another 4,000 after Geshkenbein checks. The Russian calls, and they check the {8-Clubs} turn and {K-Diamonds} river down.

Geshkenbein declares, "Ace high," but Helppi shows {6-Spades} {6-Hearts} for the pot.

Grand Final Upcoming...

Kara Scott is just starting the pre-final interviews then we will have our final match to decide it all...

It's the Finn Juha Helppi against the Russian Vladmir Geshkenbein!

Alec Torelli Beats James Sudworth

James Sudworth fired out 3,200 on a {7-Hearts} {A-Spades} {4-Spades} flop but Alec Torelli check-raised to 8,500.

Sudworth called but both checked the {2-Clubs} turn, the river was the {5-Clubs} and Torelli fired out 20,000 and Sudworth thought and then moved all-in.

Torelli instantly called with {8-Hearts} {6-Hearts} for the rivered nuts, beating Sudworth's {J-Hearts} {7-Clubs} and taking third place ahead of the Englishman.
