Trickett Doubles

Sam Trickett
Sam Trickett

Sam Trickett just doubled up when he got his money in on the flop of {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} holding the {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} versus an opponent's {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

The turn was the {J-Hearts} and the river the {3-Hearts}, keeping Trickett's hand best and doubling him up. He was all in on the flop for 70,525 and now has a little over 150,000.

Mizrachi Doubles Through Trickett

Sam Trickett raised to 1,100 on the button and Michael Mizrachi called from the small blind. The player in the big blind popped it to 4,300 and both Trickett and Mizrachi came along to see the flop roll out {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

Action was checked to Trickett and he bet 7,500. Mizrachi raised to 18,500 and the big blind gave it up. Trickett tanked and after about three minutes, raised enough to cover Mizrachi's remaining stack.

"The Grinder" called all in for just a just a little bit more and tabled {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, up against Trickett's {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. Mizrachi caught well on the turn as the {10-Spades} gave him the nut straight. Trickett was not saved by the {2-Clubs} river and dropped to about 77,000.

Mizrachi upped his stack to roughly 75,000.

Ivey On Vacation

Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

If you've had a chance to check out the latest photos posted, you'll see a side shot of Phil Ivey. Notice that Ivey is wearing shorts. Even in Vegas during the brutal heat of the summer Ivey has never been seen wearing shorts. Well, looks like he's just going to chill out on vacation with a change of things. Those shorts come complete with some table-side desserts and a big, fat cigar.

Mizrachi and Turner Battle Again

After a player under the gun raised to 1,025, Sam Trickett reraised to 3,100 from the cutoff seat. Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi was on the button and moved all in for 18,275. Jon "Pearljammer" Turner made the call of the all-in bet from the big blind and the other two players folded, leaving Turner and Mizrachi to do battle once again.

Mizrachi held a pair of nines with one being a diamond and the other a spade. Turner held the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}.

After the dealer dealt the flop, turn and river {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, Mizrachi was pushed the pot to move back over 40,000 in chips. Turner slipped back to about the starting stack.

Turner Beats Mizrachi For a Pot

Jon "Pearljammer" Turner and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi were involved in a pot with the board reading {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Turner fired out 10,050 and Mizrachi fired back with a raise to 25,000. That didn't scare off Turner, as he fired back with a reraise to 55,050. Mizrachi folded and Turner won this battle.

Turner improved to 124,000 while Mizrachi slid to 21,000.
