Foivos Pettas

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Pettas now has 286,000 chips. Clavet dropped to 660,000, but that's still good enough for second place on the leaderboard.

Clock Malfunction

All of a sudden, the tournament clock, which is projected on big screen around the tournament room, went out and reset. Don't worry tough, the tournament well was ahead of things, and always has a back-up clock running as well in case this sort of things happen. There's seven minutes left in the current level.

Benyamine Bringing the Jokes

Kari Somer made it 40,000 to go from the button and David Benyamine moved all in for 41,000 from the small blind. Zsolt Vasvenszki called from the big blind and Somer also called. Vasvenszki and Somer would then check down the board of {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

"Goodbye guys," said Benyamine, standing from his chair.

Somer then tabled the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} to which Benyamine responded, "I don't want to slowroll," and turned over the {K-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a full house. He's back to 135,000 now.

Nanos Crippled

Nanos: {A-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Somer: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The board ran through {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Somer's broadway was good enough to earn him the double up and knock Nanos all the way down to 38,000 in chips. Somer doubled to over 500,000.

Marcus Counterfeited

Mathieu Clavet raised to 35,000 and Van Marcus made the call. Clavet was on the button and Marcus in the big blind.

The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and both players checked in turn. The turn added the {5-Clubs} and both checked again. The river was also checked after the {5-Diamonds} fell.

Marcus announced pocket threes, but they were counterfeited as Clavet showed the {A-Spades}{J-Spades}. He's up to 740,000 while Marcus dropped a tiny bit to 480,000.
