Van Syckle Puts Vang To the Test; Chip Counts from Table 1

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Bob Van Syckle was in the cutoff and saw action folded to him. He opened to 25,000 and the next two players folded before Kou Vang defended his big blind.

Both players checked the flop {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to put the {k-Clubs} on board. Vang fired out 45,000 and Van Syckle announced he was all in, putting Vang to a decision for the rest of his chips.

Vang thought a couple of seconds and then let his hand go, resulting in the pot being shipped to Van Syckle to put him above an average chip stack with 23 players remaining and less than 10 minutes left in Level 19.

Cassioppi Next To Fall; Chip Counts from Table 2

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Bobby Cassioppi
Bobby Cassioppi

Action folded around to Bobby Cassioppi, who shoved all in for his last 10 or so big blinds. Eric Torgerson quickly called from the big blind.

Bobby Cassioppi: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Eric Torgerson: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Cassioppi needed help to stay alive and it would not come as the dealer brought a runout of {q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}, resulting in his elimination from the tournament shortly after the redraw.

Thurlow Takes from Le; Chip Counts from Table 1

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action folded to Justin Thurlow, who opened to 22,000 out of the cutoff. Nghia Le was on the button and called to take action heads up to the flop {8-Spades}{a-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Thurlow checked to Le, who bet 26,000. Thurlow called.

The turn came {8-Hearts} and Thurlow check-called another 45,000 from Le.

The river fell {k-Hearts} and Thurlow fired out 70,000. Le let his hand go and the pot was sent Thurlow's way.

Lawrence Gets It All from Jaeschke

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
James Lawrence
James Lawrence

Action saw 35,000 go in preflop from both James Lawrence in the hijack and Cody Jaeschke in the cutoff. The two saw a flop of {2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Lawrence checked. Jaeschke put out a bet of 50,000 and Lawrence check-raised to 140,000.

Jaeschke thought for a bit and then announced he was all in. Lawrence quickly called, leaving Jaeschke unhappy at the transpiration of events.

Cody Jaeschke: {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
James Lawrence: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Jaeschke's pair of nines was still best but he would need to fade a dozen of the remaining cards in the deck to stay on top. The turn {6-Clubs} was exactly what he didn't need, giving Lawrence the nuts before the river {8-Hearts} finished the runout.

Stacks were counted and Lawrence's was totaled to be 287,000. Jaeschke's was 250,000 and he was wished a good game from all before making his way to the payout desk.
