"Sayin83" Stops "norika71"

Level 1 : 50/100, 12 ante
Sayin83 vs norika71
Sayin83 vs norika71

"Wouter_psv" raised to 200 from under the gun and "norika71" called from the middle position. "Sayin83" three-bet to 1,046 from the hijack. "c300mm" called from the cutoff and so did "Wouter_psv" in the end.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, it was checked to "Sayin83" who shoved for 23,942 in the first hand of the night which only "norika71" called with the same exact stack.

"norika71": {q-Spades}{9-Spades}
"Sayin83": {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

"norika71" had flopped a pair of nines but "Sayin83" had hit the set of kings.

The rest of the board was completed with the {5-Clubs} on the turn and the {6-Clubs} on the river to keep "Sayin83" ahead and eliminate
"norika71" as one of the first players of the day.

At 6.05 p.m. GMT, Day 1 of the Blowout Series: $530 NLHE [8-Max, The Big Blowout!] is set to start with another weekly tournament featuring a brilliant $5,000,000 prize pool.

"pilaa" won the first event for $485,827 which had a $109 buy-in while Cosmin "UnHuman3" Voinea took down the $209 buy-in event for $632,426 after a six-way deal. Who will become the third winner of this exciting new series by PokerStars?

The players will get 25,000 chips in their starting stacks and play 20-minute levels on Day 1. Play will end when 17 levels have been played through to break for Day 2 on Monday, January 11 at 6:10 p.m. GMT. Players can reenter up to three times if things go awry during any of their earlier bullets.

Late registration will be possible for 24 hours once the tournament has started, so until 6:05 p.m. GMT, five minutes before the start of Day 2. The level duration for Day 2 will be reduced to 12 minutes and increase to 15 once there are 80 players left, similar to last week's event.

Once the field is reduced to 16 players, Day 2 will break for Day 2 and the level duration will go up again to 25 minutes this time. On Day 3, play will continue until a new champion has been crowned with the action with hole cards coverage on the PokerStars Twitch channel.

PokerNews will be there from the first beep until the Day 1 chip leader has been found so stick around for today's live coverage.
