Rodrigo Diaz
Rodrigo Diaz

Rodrigo Diaz raised to 60,000 from middle positino with just 400,000 behind. When it folded to Stephen Henderson in the big blind he shoved to put Diaz all-in. Diaz reluctantly called.

Rodrigo Diaz: A9 All in
Stephen Henderson: A10

Diaz had come into the day as the chip leader, but looked likely to be the next elimination. Neither player improved on the 76Q82 runout, meaning Henderson's ace-ten high would win and Diaz was out.

Austin Putnam-Johnson opened to 60,000 from early position and Niall Campbell three-bet to 150,000 from middle position. Steven Frew four-bet to 500,000 and Putnam-Johnson folded, but Campbell shoved to put Frew all-in. Frew snap-called.

Steven Frew: KK All in
Niall Campbell: AA

Frew was in horrible shape against the aces. The A33 flop left him virtually drawing dead. The K hit the turn to give Frew a chance at a one-outer on the river. Howver it didn't come as the 4 fell and Frew was out.

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Aidan Quinlan

Niall Campbell raised to 65,000 before Aidan Quinlan three-bet to 170,000 from the next seat. After pondering for a few moments, Campbell shoved to put Quinlan all-in. Quinlan snap-called.

Aidan Quinlan: KK All in
Niall Campbell: QQ

Quinlan looked poised to become one of the chip leaders of the tournament. The 933 flop meant only a queen would end Quinlan's tournament. The brutal Q peeled off on the turn to give Campbell a full house, and the 6 fell on the river, meaning Quinlan was eliminated in a horrible fashion.

PokerNews were just told about a big hand a few moments ago Table #3

Rodrigo Diaz had opened the button and Aidan Quinlan defended out of the big blind.

Quinlan check-called bets from Diaz on the flop and turn of a board that read 8Q33.

The river came the 3 and after Quinlan checked, Diaz overbet shoved to put Quinlan to the test for his last 900,000. Quinlan eventually called with 4x4x and Diaz mucked.
