The action was picked up with the board reading 5♣9♠J♠. Marc Forde bet 70,000 from early position and faced a check-raise to 230,000 by Vitalijs Polukejevs out of the big blind. Forde shoved for 455,000 and Polukejevs called.
Marc Forde: Q♣J♣
Vitalijs Polukejevs: 10♠8♠
Forde had top pair, but he was against Polukejevs' huge combo-draw. The rest of the board ran out 10♣3♣ to give Forde a flush, earning him the double-up.

With the board showing 7♣A♥9♦3♦, Steven Lee check-called from the big blind to a bet of 60,000 by Mark Magee from the hijack.
Lee checked again on the A♠ river and Magee continued with a bet of 100,000. Lee thought it over for a few moments before flicking in the call.
Magee turned over A♣8♣ for trip aces, and Lee mucked his hand.

The action was picked up with the flop reading 9♥7♠10♠. Aidan Quinlan checked from the big blind and Austin Putnam-Johnson checked from early position, but Kevin Killeen bet 75,000 from middle position. Quinlan check-shoved for 285,000 and got a fold from Putnam-Johnson, but a call from Killeen.
Aidan Quinlan: 9♣8♥
Kevin Killeen: Q♣Q♦
Killeen was slightly ahead with his queens but Quinlan could hit a lot of cards to take the lead. The 6♦ turn was one of the cards Quinlan needed, as he improved to a straight. The J♥ fell on the river and Quinlan had doubled through Killeen.

Mark Magee shoved from early postion for around 350,000 and Duane McDonnell called from the button to put him at risk.
Mark Magee: A♣10♦
Duane McDonnell: 9♣9♥
It was a classic flip that both players really needed to win to have a shot of making it to Day 3. The board ran out favorably for Magee as it came 10♠6♦2♣10♥7♦ to give him the winner with trip tens.
McDonnell was left very short-stacked and was eliminated a few hands later.
