In a blind versus blind situation with 5,700 in the pot, Espen Myrmo in the big blind bet 2,000 on the 4♣K♣K♠, but Michael Sklenicka in the small blind check-raised to 5,400.

Sklenicka eventually made the call to find the 10♦ turn, where Sklenicka checked. Myrmo bet 7,000 and he made Sklenicka fold.

Moments later, Leo Lombardozzi became the first player eliminated of the day.

Kriauciunas Folds to Sklenicka's River Bet

With around 1,600 in the middle on a board that read K♦7♥3♠, Michael Sklenicka bet 400 from the cutoff and was met by a check-raise to 1,400 from Mindaugas Kriauciunas out of the big blind. Sklenicka called.

Kriauciunas bet 1,500 upon seeing the K♥ fall on the turn. Sklenicka paused briefly, then called again.

The 9♥ river got a check from Kriauciunas and a bet of 3,600 by Sklenicka. Kriauciunas didn't long to fold his hand and surrender the pot to Sklenicka.

Moments after he arrived at the table, John Dwyer opened from under the gun then called after Michael Sklenicka to his left three-bet to 1,500.

Both players checked the 8♦4♦Q♥ flop leading to the Q♦ turn where Dywer checked. Sklenicka bet 2,400, but Dwyer check-raised to 7,100. Sklenicka made the called.

The 5♥ river completed the board but brought no more action. Dwyer flipped over A♦J♣, but Sklenicka had J♦J♥ for two pair and scooped the pot.
