Mizrachi Spikes An Ace, Snipes Adams

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Pauli Ayras raised to 2,000 from under the gun, Robert Mizrachi three-bet shoved 25,500 from the small blind, Timothy Adams called all in for 19,400 from the big blind.

Ayras shrugged and called it off after a few seconds to put both opponents at risk.

Timothy Adams: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Pauli Ayras: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Robert Mizrachi: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop brought help for Mizrachi, who was two cards away from a near triple-up. The {k-Hearts} turn and {8-Hearts} river remained safe to ship the pot over to him. Adams, who busted in the process, will have twelve minutes if he decides to reenter.

Cooler City for Antonius

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Koray Aldemir and Patrik Antonius
Koray Aldemir and Patrik Antonius

To say it hasn't been the best of days for Patrik Antonius would be quite the understatement. On bullet number two, he was eliminated with queens against eights. He had queens again early on bullet number three and things didn't go much better.

It was back and forth preflop between Antonius with {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Koray Aldemir with {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} before all of Antonius' chips were in the middle.

"Not again," said Antonius.

He wished everyone good luck after he was unable to get a save after the {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{6-Hearts} ran out on the board.

Ruijs Facing the Overbet

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Joris Ruijs opened to 2,500 from under the guy, Koray Aldemir three-bet to 9,500 from the small blind and Ruijs called. Both players patted the table on the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop. Aldemir bet 7,500 on the {q-Clubs} turn and Ruijs called.

The river double-paired the board with the {4-Spades} and Aldemir slid all his big chips forward. It was for 48,000 total, leaving himself with 7,000 behind. Ruijs, visibly unpleased with the size of the bet, took around five seconds before surrendering the pot.

Patrik's Back

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After a little bit of a break, Patrik Antonius is back in the tournament hoping the third time is a charm. The field has grown to 15 entrants with 12 players left in their seat. Late registration for this event will be open for another twenty minutes.

Mulder Takes Some from Mizrachi

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Teun Mulder
Teun Mulder

Right before the blinds went up, Robert Mizrachi raised to 1,800 from the hijack and got a call from Teun Mulder from the big blind.

Mulder check-raised a bet of 1,500 from Mizrazchi to 6,000 after the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Diamonds} came on the flop and Mizrachi called.

Mulder then fired out for 13,000 after the {4-Clubs} came on the turn and Mizrachi quickly called.

The action got bigger after the {3-Hearts} came on the river with Mulder leading out for 60,000, more than covering the 6,000 left in Mizrazchi's stack. Mizrachi used three time bank cards before he folded and the dealer pushed the pot over to Mulder.

Mulder Keeps Building

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Teun Mulder raised it up to 2,000 and Koray Aldemir defended. Aldemir check-called 2,600 on the {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop, but a sizable 10,400 bet from Mulder on the turn made the German fold.

Mulder Chips Up

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Teun Mulder opened from the cutoff to 2,000 and got a call from Rahul Byrraju from the button. Timothy Adams jacked it up to 11,000 from the big blind and both his opponents called.

Adams bet 10,000 after the {4-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} came on the flop and got a call from Mulder before Byrraju folded.

Adams checked it over to Mulder after the {10-Clubs} came on the turn. After a small pause, Mulder declared himself all-in. The dealer did a quick count and Mulder had 53,300, an amount that Adams despite earlier bleeding some chips still had covered with a stack of approximately 65,000.

Adams used three time bank tickets before he folded and Mulder took down a decent pot without a showdown.

A Set for Ruijs

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Joris Ruijs
Joris Ruijs

Joris Ruijs opened from the cutoff before he called a three-bet from James Romero from the button to create a pot of around 9,000 before the flop.

Ruijs check-called a bet of 4,200 from Romero after the {5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} came on the flop before he check-called a second time a bet of 15,000 after the {q-Clubs} came on the turn.

Another check came from Ruijs after the {4-Hearts} completed the board on the river. Romero used one of his time bank chips before he check behind. Ruijs turned over {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for a set and won the hand after Romero tossed his hand into the muck.
