Anatoly Filatov Brings the Heat

Level 7 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Anatoly Filatov
Anatoly Filatov

partypoker sponsored pro Anatoly Filatov opened the action for 30,000 from early position and picked up one caller on the button while laughing and joking with some of the players at his table.

The flop was {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Filatov checked to his opponent who checked behind.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Filatov bet a chunk 135,000 from his monster stack. His opponent flicked away his cards and shook his head as if to say what can I do?

Filatov is playing his heater and it shows no sign of cooling down just yet.

Klejnowski Eliminated

Level 7 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Przemyslaw Klejnowski qualified online and started the day with almost one million in chips, but that has since been reduced to zero. Down to around 150,000, he shoved into an under-the-gun raise by Jack Sinclair and picked up a snap-call by the Brit.

Przemyslaw Klejnowski: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Jack Sinclair: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Klejnowski found no help to join the rail.

Updated Counts for Level 7

Level 7 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Ondrej Mar Raises the Bar

Level 7 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Ondrej Mar
Ondrej Mar

In a hand that lasted several minutes into the last break, Ondrej Mar scooped a massive pot. On a four-way flop of {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, the action checked to Mar in the cutoff and he bet 100,000, which picked up two callers including Rishi Ravi Bhasin. After the {J-Clubs} turn, Bhasin check-called a hefty bet of 375,000 by Mar with around 430,000 behind while the hijack folded.

The {7-Clubs} river completed the board and Mar moved all in. Bhasin tanked for two minutes and eventually called, then mucked {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts} when he was shown {K-Spades}{J-Spades} for two pair by Mar.

Michaelis Out As Uyar Moves Up The Rankings

Level 6 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Mustafa Uyar moves up to fifth in chips
Mustafa Uyar moves up to fifth in chips

Paul Michaelis 3-bet to 100,000 behind a 20,000 chip open, before Mustafa Uyar put in the 4-bet to 250,000. Action folded back round to Michaelis who put the lot in with a 5-bet to 700,000. Uyar quickly called and rolled over {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}, which had Michaelis' {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} in terrible shape.

The {7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board ran out five complete bricks, as Michaelis left the tournament. "You owe me a drink! I folded {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}!" came the cry from the original raiser.

With that pot shortly before the break, Uyar moves up to fifth in chips

Sinclair for Bullet Two

Level 6 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jack Sinclair took the vacated seat that formerly belonged to fellow High Roller finalist Sander van Wesemael and raised to 25,000 from the cutoff. Marcel Luske on the button as well as the big blind called and the flop fell {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}. The action checked to Luske, who bet 50,000, and the big blind folded before Sinclair called.

Both checked the {J-Spades} turn before the {K-Diamonds} river saw Sinclair lead for 150,000 and rake in the pot without showdown.

King three-bet to 53,000 and called the four-bet shove of David Neff for an additional 250,000 on top.

David Neff: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
King: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The board came {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and King immediately spiked an ace on the flop to bust Neff.

Jan Demjan Jams Jacks

Level 6 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jan Demjan
Jan Demjan

Jan Demjan was all in for the second time of the day.

The board on the turn was {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} with 500,000 in the middle and the all in was around a pot sized bet.

Demjan’s father and official sponsor, chiKKita banAAna was again on hand to see his son’s fate as Frank Robotka weighed up whether his tournament life was worth a call. In the end he did call.

Demjan tabled {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Robotka showed {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

Demjan need a jack to save him but the riber was the {k-Clubs}.

Demjan had tripled up earlier when had flopped a set of jacks but they were almost his undoing this time as he was left on fumes.
