Son Of banAAna Triples Up

Level 4 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The board at the turn read {2-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

Jurgen Dezius had bet 75,000.

Action was on Jan Demjan and behind him stood local celebrity and owner of the next-door massage parlour, chiKKita banAAna who is his father. Demjan is also in a bright yellow sponsored Team chiKKita banAAna top resplendent with patches.

Demjan had just over a pot sized bet behind and in the middle it went as banAAna Sr. gripped his son’s shoulders.

Both Dezius and Stefan Fuchs made the call so cards were on their backs.

Dezius: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Fuchs: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Demjan: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The dealer put out a river card {5-Clubs}.

Dezius was felted, Fuchs collected a side pot with his two pair, and Demjan tripled up with his flopped set of jacks.

A delighted chiKKita banAAna cried, “Triple up!” as his son grinned and stacked the chips.

Robotka Shoves on Table of Big Names

Level 4 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Anatoly Filatov almost immediately doubled his stack and fellow High Rollers Paul Michaelis and Hossein Ensan share the same table, but it was Frank Robotka that scooped the last hand.

On a three-way flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Robotka checked out of the small blind and Filatov bet 35,000. The player in the hijack called and Robotka check-raised to 103,000. Filatov folded and the hijack called. After the {2-Spades} turn, Robotka instantly moved all in and forced a fold from his sole remaining opponent.

Horak Loses a Bigger Pot

Level 4 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jiri Horak raised to 15,000 and Sebastian Langrock called before the hijack raised to 35,000. Horak clicked it up to 115,000 and Langrock folded, the hijack called. On the {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop, Horak checked and called a bet of 150,000 before both players checked the {10-Clubs} turn.

Horak's bet of 100,000 on the {2-Hearts} river was called by the hijack, who was relieved as Horak turned over {A-Spades}{2-Spades} for two pair only. The hijack had the better two pair on {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and scooped the pot, but remains below the starting stack.

Sevens For Ensan

Level 4 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Ensan picks up the full double
Ensan picks up the full double

We joined the action on a {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades} board, with Hossein Ensan check-raising a 35,000 bet to 130,000. His opponent made the call as they headed to a {3-Hearts} turn, where Ensan continued for 140,000. His opponent thought for a second before moving all-in. Ensan called instantly and the cards were on their backs.

Ensan's {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} had his opponent's {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} drawing dead, but had the shorter stack, so left his opponent a handful of chips back while picking up the full double.

Mustafa Uyar Gets Luck Leaving Claudius Istrate Irate

Level 4 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Claudius Istrate opened the action and got a call from Mustafa Uyar.

The flop was {9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Istrate checked it over to Uyar who bet 75,000.

Istrate went for the check-raise to 190,000 and Uyar called.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {a-Clubs} complete the board.

A check from Istrate saw Uyar think for a while before assembling a tower of chips which he slid forwards. As the dealer was breaking down the bet, which was around 250,000, Istrate threw in the calling chips.

Uyar tabled {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} for a full house.

Istrate was far from happy as he showed his losing {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}. “So sick,” he said as Uyar collected the pot and continued for a while to lament his fate, “So lucky.”

A little smile did play across the lips of the silent Uyar.

Knoll Chips Up with a Straight

Level 4 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} turn with two players to act, Oliver Knoll checked and faced a bet of 60,000. Knoll check-raised to 160,000 and picked up a call before the {9-Spades} river paired the board. Knoll's bet of 110,000 with some 560,000 behind was called and the German rolled over {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a straight to scoop the pot.
