Natalia Breviglieri Despatches Michael Koran

Level 13 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Natalia Breviglieri
Natalia Breviglieri

The board on the turn was {j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and partypoker sponsored pro Natalia Breviglieri led out from the small blind and her opponent Michael Koran made a fairly confident looking call leaving not much behind.

The river card was the {5-Clubs} and it was Breviglieri’s turn to look confident as she bet all her large denomination chips. It was Koran’s tournament life on the line and he suddenly looked in two minds over what to do. In the end he decided to reluctantly fold and survive to find a better spot.

That spot appeared on the very next hand as it folded to Koran in late position and he moved all in. Breviglieri, who had just taken most of his stack, moved all in too and the blinds left them to it.

It was a flip as Breviglieri had {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Koran {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}.

Breviglieri hit to take the last of Korans chips and grow her stack a little bit more.

Blasko's Ducks Spell the End for Jachtmann

Level 13 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

Within a matter of minutes, pocket deuces have become the nemesis of partypoker sponsored pro Jan-Peter Jachtmann.

Marek Blasko raised and called the three-bet by Jachtmann to see a flop of {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Blasko check-called a continuation bet and did so again for hefty 1.6 million on the {7-Clubs} turn. After the {5-Hearts} river, Blasko moved all in and Jachtmann called, having had invested the majority of his stack already.

Blasko turned over {2-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Jachtmann's ace-king was no good.

Jachtmann Loses a Flip

Level 13 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 125,000 from the button and Vojtěch Kratochvíl moved all in for exactly 1.2 million. Jachtmann said in table chat "I don't think you have a good hand" and eventually called after some more consideration.

Vojtěch Kratochvíl: {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Jan-Peter Jachtmann: {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop gave Jachtmann extra outs with the better flush draw, but he failed to get there on the {3-Clubs} turn and {8-Spades} river.

SUPER HIGH ROLLER: Holz Chips Back Up

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
After a rough start, Fedor Holz is slowly chipping back up
After a rough start, Fedor Holz is slowly chipping back up

We joined the action on an {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{k-Hearts} flop in a hand between Fedor Holz and Tony G, where Holz's flop bet of 700 had just been check-raised to 2,500. Holz thought for a second and made the call as they went to the {6-Clubs} turn.

Tony G casually flicked in an orange 5,000-value chip, with Holz quickly calling again. The {8-Diamonds} landed on the river, with Tony G all but giving up, very quickly check-folding to Holz's river bet of 4,000.
