Filatov and Kehya Battle

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Anatoly Filatov
Anatoly Filatov

Sonay Kehya raised to 100,000 from the cutoff and Anatoly Filatov called on the button, as did the player in the big blind. On the {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop, the big blind checked and subsequently foldedto the action behind him, while Kehya's bet of 250,000 was called by Filatov.

After the {3-Spades} turn, Kehya checked and Filatov bet 500,000 before calling a check-raise to 1,300,000. The {Q-Clubs} river then completed the board and Kehya checked. Filatov bet 1,500,000 and was called to roll over {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a straight to scoop a massive pot.

Both players got into another big pot right after in which Kehya check-called a bet of 325,000 by Filatov on the {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and was shown {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a busted straight draw. Kehya had that beat with {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and took back a few chips. According to Moritz Dietrich on the same table, the duo has been battling back and forth ever since Filatov arrived.

Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

Joining the action on the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, Jack Sinclair bet 100,000 and LocalHero raised to 300,000. Sinclair moved all in for around 1.1 million and was quickly called.

Jack Sinclair: {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}
LocalHero: {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

"Not a good timing," Sinclair sighed and saw the board run out with the {4-Spades} turn and {10-Spades} river, failing to improve the Brit.

Kabrhel Offers Arm Wrestle Prop Bet With Jan-Peter Jachtmann & the Greatest Call in Poker History

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

“If anyone raises I go all in,” warned Martin Kabrhel from the big blind as the dealer finished the deal.

Action folded round to Alexander Burkart on the button who bet 80,000 which got a raised eyebrow at the daring move from Kabrhel. Benjamin Benoit called in the small blind and Kabrhel addressed Burkart;

“Crazy guy. Crazy. What’s your name?”

“I don’t know,” Burkart replied.

“You forgot your own name? We have big problem. Ok I will flop a straight and go all in,” Kabrhel continued and called.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Hearts} was checked around and the {3-Hearts} hit the turn.

Benoit led out for 125,000, Kabrhel folded and Burkart called.

Kabrhel turned his attention to tablemate partypoker sponsored pro Jan-Peter Jachtmann and asked him if he played badminton? Jachtmann replied that he didn’t as you need to be very fit to play.

“Ten thousand I will play you at badminton.” Kabrhel offered him a sports prop bet but Jachtmann declined instead suggesting an arm wrestle for €10,000.

“Ok,” Kabrhel said and Jachtmann’s eyes lit up at the prospect, “First badminton and then arm wrestle.” A disappointed Jachtmann again declined.

Poker was still going on though and the river was the {9-Hearts}.

Benoit bet 475,000 and after a few seconds though Burkart called only to see Benoit muck.

“I folded the best hand,” Kabrhel said and Burkart turned over his {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for king high.

“Oh my God, that is the greatest call in the history of poker,” declared Kabrhel.

Philipp Zukernik
Philipp Zukernik

While Henning W. and Sonay Kehya already have impressive stacks, it is Philipp Zukernik that has taken over the chip lead in the last level before the dinner break.

On a three-way flop of {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Julian Thomas moved all in and was called by both Gideon Stetter and Zukernik. Stetter shoved the {2-Clubs} turn for 2,000,000 and Zukernik called.

Julian Thomas: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Gideon Stetter: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Philipp Zukernik: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Philipp Gruissem - Has It
Philipp Gruissem - Has It

Philipp Gruissem opened the action for 70,000from early position and picked up a call from Marc Doring on his direct left. The rest of the players folded to make it a heads-up pot.

The flop was {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Gruissem continued for 125,000 which got a call from Doring.

The turn card was the {a-Spades} which slowed the action down as no chips were added to the pot on this street.

On the river {6-Spades} Gruissem plucked a bet of 235,000 from his stack and placed it forward.

Doring counted out the bet and a call would leave him with just over 1,000,000.

Doring called and mucked when Gruissem showed him the goods {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.
