Alamzad Sina: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Dominik Desset: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}

Despite picking up some additional outs with a double gutshot on the flop of {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Blasko failed to get there on a blank {8-Spades} turn and {Q-Hearts} river to hit the rail in 19th place for €6,000.

Level 23 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Matous Skorepa
Matous Skorepa

Matous Skorepa had just doubled through Arsenii Karmatckii and on the very next hand Karmatckii opened and Skorepa shoved again, this time from the small blind for close to 12,000,000.

Sonay Kehya was in the big blind and having got a count he called. Karmatckii wanted no further part of it and folded.

Skorepa: {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Kehya: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Quads for Kehya and a walk to the pay-out desk for Skorepa.

SantaClaus Folds to Shove; Doubles After

Level 23 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Hand 1

Josef Snejberg raised from under the gun and picked up two callers in small blind SantaClaus and big blind Fabrice Halleux. On the {Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, the action checked to Snejberg and he bet 1.1 million. SantaClaus check-raised to 2.5 million and Halleux quickly folded before Snejberg checked the stack of his opponent and called.

Both checked the {7-Spades} on the turn and SantaClaus also checked the {A-Diamonds} river. Snejberg moved all in for effective 6.5 million and SantaClaus said "flush beats me, the rest not." Some swear words in German followed and he eventually folded. Gerald Karlic joked "show a black card" over to Snejberg, who double-checked his cards and sent them into the muck.

Hand 2

Karlic opened to 1.1 million and SantaClaus moved all in for 6.525 million in the cutoff. Karlic asked for a brief count and called.

SantaClaus: {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Gerald Karlic: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop didn't change anything just yet, but SantaClaus got there with the {A-Diamonds} turn. A blank {9-Diamonds} river kept the German in the lead and he doubled.

All You Can Beat

Level 23 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Sonay Kehya's raise from under the gun was called by Arsenii Karmatckii in the big blind and he check-called a bet of 1.675 million on the {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop. After the {A-Diamonds} turn, Karmatckii checked and folded to a bet of 3.5 million by Kehya, who offered to show one card.

Karmatckii grabbed both and looked at them, and the {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} of the Dutchman were exposed as a result.

Over on table 90, Jonathan Wong raised to 1.1 million and was called by Philipp Zukernik and Albert Skobelev in the big blind. Skobelev check-called a bet of 2.5 million by Wong on the {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop while Zukernik folded, before the {8-Spades} turn and {J-Clubs} river were checked through, Skobelev showed {K-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and that won the pot.

Last but not least, Fabrice Halleux first doubled with king-queen against the pocket tens of Dominik Desset before doing so again with {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} from the button against Robin Hegele's {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} in the big blind. The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Halleux had back-to-back doubles.

Hegele Doubles in Setup Hand

Level 23 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

In the second hand after the redraw, Robin Hegele faced a raise to 1.3 million by Sonay Kehya and three-bet to four million out of the big blind. Kehya moved all in and Hegele snap-called.

Robin Hegele: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}
Sonay Kehya: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

"King on the flop," Kehya said, but his procrastination went awry with the board running out {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts} to see Hegele double for 18,450,000.

Wong and Doring Chip Up

Level 23 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Sonay Kehya defended his big blind against a raise by Jonathan Wong and check-called a bet of 1.6 million on the {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Both then checked the {5-Clubs} turn and {Q-Diamonds} river, and Wong claimed the pot with {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Over on the other table, Gerald Karlic called a raise by Marc Doring and checked his option in the big blind on a flop of {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. On the {6-Hearts} turn, Karlic checked and called a bet of 1,750,000 before checking again the {5-Diamonds} river.

Doring made it 4,700,000 to go and Karlic gave it some thought before calling. Doring turned over {A-Spades}{6-Clubs} for aces and sixes, which won the pot and leave Karlic short.
