Kelly Ince qualified on partypoker and had a rough beat yesterday when her pocket aces were cracked by pocket kings. However, since Ince qualified multiple times she can take another shot at the guaranteed prize pool of $5,000,000 here at the stunning Casino and Resort Sochi.
Ince shares a table with Oleg Egorov while Gerald Karlic, Nicolas Le Floch and Pierre Neuville are one table over.
After a raise to 12,500, Arman Atshemyan called in the small blind and Aleksandar Tomovic came along from the big blind. The flop fell and the action checked to the initial raiser, who bet 29,000. Both Atshemyan and Tomovic called before the appeared on the turn.
Atshemyan now led for 100,000 with just 270,000 behind and Tomovic folded after some consideration, while the third player in the hand called. Atshemyan also bet the river for 100,000 and his opponent folded.
A bigger pot was brewing on the table of Josef Gulas with both ladies involved. Ultimately, the board showed and Elena Jasuchina bet 200,000, which Zulfia Korgu called. Jasuchina showed for a pair of aces and Korgu had that beat with for two pair.
Vasili Firsau faced an open raise to 15,000 and a three-bet to 36,500 by his immediate table neighbor. Firsau elected to four-bet to 100,500 from the cutofff and that did the trick to force folds all around. Below are further updated counts from the field in level three.
David Laka raised from the cutoff to 100,000 with and Andrey Razov three-bet all in for 305,000 from the button with . The blinds folded and Laka made the call.
The board ran out and Razov doubled up.
A short while later, Diego Zeiter raised to 110,000 from early position with and David Laka three-bet to 260,000 with from the next position. Leon Tsoukernik cold-called with in the big blind before Zeiter four-bet all in for 1,270,000. Laka quickly folded but Tsoukernik called.
The board came and despite Tsoukernik holding several straight outs on the turn, the river was a brick and Zeiter took over the chip lead.
"I have a nice hand for you, I lost with aces," Govert Metaal said when walking past the media desk. Apparently, a player that had just sat down on his table managed to get his stack in after a preflop raising war and showed . Metaal had pocket aces and there were plenty of clubs on the board to leave Metaal with a mere dust.
"It's a re-entry," the Dutchman said and will either run up the current stack or get back in soon with a fresh stack. Andrey Andreev has already done so and chipped up slightly on the second attempt.

A new table was opened and Andrey Zaichenko as well as Jan-Peter Jachtmann sat down with four players active, while other players were moved to the table while the hand was going on. "I defend my ante," Jachtmann announced and raised to 11,500 on the button. Jeff Hakim in the big blind three-bet to 43,000 and Jachtmann called with the words "It is a re-entry" and a smile on the face.
After the flop, Hakim continued for 30,000 and Jachtmann called before then facing a bet worth 80,000 on the river. The partypoker Sponsored Pro let go and Hakim chipped up just before the end of level two.
