Lomakin Shows Kings

Level 10 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

A raising war saw a four-bet to 562,000 by Sergey Lomakin and a call by Anton Gililov, who then saw a flop of {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and a check by Lomakin. Gililov bet 525,000 and Lomakin called before the {J-Spades} turn was checked. Lomakin bet the {5-Hearts} river for 300,000 and Gililov folded to get shown pocket kings by Lomakin.

While the stack of Lomakin is already impressive, Alexander Krasuntcev tops that with even more on the same table that also includes Alexandru Papazian.

Vaskaboinikau Doubles

Level 10 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

"I only saw one card," Mikalai Vaskaboinikau said after pushing for 205,000 from the small blind and being called by Felix Schulze. The latter turned over {K-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and the Belorussian had {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, which caused plenty of chuckles around the table.

The board came {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Vaskaboinikau doubled his short stack.

Gary Banks faced a raise to 55,000 by Pavel Shirshikov and three-bet to 192,000 in the small blind. That did the trick to force a fold.

Aleksandar Tomovic got through with a four-bet shove and has around the starting stack now.

Karlic Pushes Out Metaal

Level 10 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

While Gerald Karlic bet the {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{J-Clubs} river for 325,000 and folded to a shove, flashing a deuce and being shown {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the nut straight, Govert Metaal on his table got up to head into the break. The Dutchman had one more story to tell, though, as he five-bet to 625,000 and folded to Karlic's six-bet shove while revealing pocket kings.

"He had aces," Metaal added and Karlic just grinned. Both remain well above the average and below are further assorted counts in the upper cash game area.

Filatov Doubles

Level 11 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Soon after coming back from the break, Anatoly Filatov was all in and at risk for 800,000. Arut Lobyan called with the {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Filatov's {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} held up thanks to a board of {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

Right after, Roberto Romanello open-shoved from under the gun and Richard Dubini called all in for less.

Romanello had the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and Dubini showed {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}. There was no sweat on the board {Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} and the partypoker Sponsored Pros chopped it up.

Atshemyan Busts Umarov

Level 11 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Roman Cieslik was waiting outside of the tournament area and explained that his shove for just two big blinds was called by six opponents. Cieslik flopped an open-ended straight draw with jack-ten but ultimately bricked to see an opponent with pocket sixes won the pot.

Alexander Matveev was among those to bust in the theatre and he was followed by Allmas Umarov. The player from Kazakhstan got it in with {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Arman Atshemyan called with the {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}. The board came {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{J-Diamonds} to see Atshemyan get there on the river.
