After a raise to 60,000 and a call by Manig Loeser, Oksana Abakhova called in the small blind. Aleksey Melnikov in the big blind three-bet to 330,000. The initial raiser was sent into the think tank and the clock was called to see him fold. Loeser folded anbd Abakhova called.

The very corner table, number one in the main room to be precise, saw Jan-Peter Jachtmann start the day and the German has since built his stack slightly. Lika Gerasimova was there all day long also, while the likes of Pierre Neuville, Moritz Dietrich and Dzmitry Urbanovich all joined.

At the start of the day the tournament field was spread across two floors and four separate buildings of the Sochi Casino & Resort. Now that one of the rooms has emptied, the second room of tables is slowly starting to break into the main tournament room.

Banks Builds Further

Gary Banks is among the biggest stacks in the main room right now while the seat next to him is empty. That seat formerly belonged to PokerStars Championship Sochi champion Pavel Shirshikov and Banks added that the Russian four-bet all in with into his ace-king to bust in a battle of the blinds.

Filatov Busts in Three Hands

Richard Dubini raised to 90,000 and Anatoly Filatov called before Stanislav Kozlovskyi moved all in for 930,000. Dubini folded and Filatov called, then got his mini camera ready to film the showdown.
