Nutt and Chop No More

Level 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Daniel Clark is facing some tough opposition in Vladimir Troyanovskiy and Andrey Pateychuk while the two empty seats were filled and Steve O'Dwyer arrived to take the spot that formerly belonged to Dmitry Chop. According to Clark he won a flip with ace-king against the queens of Chop.

Andriena Nutt has also been eliminated. Clark confirmed that she was at risk with pocket eights against the pocket tens of Anatoliy Filonenko. Nutt turned a set but Filonenko rivered a flush.

Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

Moritz Dietrich and Kenny Hallaert have been eliminated before the money bubble. In the case of Hallaert, he got his last 10 big blinds in out of the big blind and Aleksandr Plyatsok in the small blind looked him up with the superior stack.

Kenny Hallaert: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Aleksandr Plyatsok: {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{K-Spades}{8-Clubs} and the queen on the flop spelled the end for Hallaert fewer than 15 spots off the money.

partypoker Sponsored Pro Richard Dubini Eliminated

Level 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Richard Dubini
Richard Dubini

We mentioned earlier that Jack Sinclair had bested partypoker Sponsored Pro Richard Dubini on a five-card straight board, and now Dubini has tweeted that he was eliminated.

According to the Argentinian he earlier had to fold Kings in a three-bet shove on a {5-}{5-}{3-}{4-}{3-} board, when his opponent check-shoved on the river. He eventually got his remaining 27 big blinds in with pocket nines against an opponent's Jack-Ten, only for Dubini to emerge second best.

Level 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Bertrand ElkY Grospellier

We spotted Bertrand Grospellier's seat was empty and Ilya Gorodetskiy told us that the Frenchman three-bet jammed over an Aleksei Istomin raise. Istomin called and showed {a-}{10-} and Grospellier held {k-}{q-}.

There was a King on the flop, but also an Ace as it came {a-}{k-}{4-}. Grospellier was dead on the {a-} turn however, and he was eliminated just short of the money.

Vitaly Volov: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Anatoliy Zyrin: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

Ivanov Rising

Level 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy and Michael Sklenicka are building their stack, and Vyacheslav Ivanov just did so in a hand against Armen Khachatryan. On the {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, Ivanov called a bet of 350,000 by Khachatryan before Khachatryan checked the {8-Clubs} on the turn. Ivanov bet 680,000 and that was enough to claim the pot without showdown.

Level 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The money bubble is not far away and the stack of Kenny Hallaert has been reduced to a mere 14 big blinds. For as many chips, his table neighbor Oleg Zhdan doubled up with {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} against the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} of the Belgian with the board running out {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{K-Hearts}.
