Giddy Up: The Ladies Love Thomas Taylor

Level 16 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Thomas Taylor was seen four-betting before the flop, and he was faced with a five-bet shove and called.

Taylor tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}, while his opponent showed {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Taylor had over three million chips in front of him, with his opponent sitting on over two million.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, which looked fairly safe for kings. The turn was the {6-Spades}, and the entire table gasped when the {q-Clubs} hit the felt on the river.

Battle of the French-Canadian Pros

Level 16 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante
Jonathan Roy
Jonathan Roy

Action folded around to Marc Etienne McLaughlin in late position and he raised to 130,000. Jonathan Roy was in the big blind and decided to defend.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Roy check-called a bet of 80,000 from McLaughlin.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and Roy checked again. This time, McLaughlin bet 180,000. Roy went into the tank and eventually called.

The river was the {8-Spades}. Roy checked for a third time, and McLaughlin opted to check back. It was a fortunate play for him, as Roy tabled {8-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a full house.

The King is Not Dead!

Level 16 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Upon walking by one of the tables, Armand "Oyster King" King yelled out at the PokerNews team, "The king is almost dead! Write that in your blog!"

Funny enough, he was all in the very next hand with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, and was called by {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

The board ran out {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and secured the double up, after which time the "King" did a dance and cheered.

Marc Etienne McLaughlin was at the table and laughed and said, "The king is not dead anymore!"

Kristen Bicknell Chips Up with Aces

Level 15 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

Kristen Bicknell clicked the fold button and put the iPad aside during the partypoker Pokerfest series going on right now online. She was dealt a big hand in the live Main Event happening at the Playground Poker Club. Facing a raise of 130,000 Bicknell looked down at two black aces and re-raised to 360,000. Action was folded back around to her opponent and he called.

The dealer fanned the flop of {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}, and the trap was set as both players checked. When the turn landed a {7-Clubs}, Bicknell's opponent bet 325,000 but she wasn't going anywhere. Bicknell called and the two players were off to the river.

The board double paired as the {3-Diamonds} came on the river. The action was checked to Bicknell, and she bet 775,000. Her opponent called and Bicknell showed the aces to make the two biggest pair possible. That was good enough to win the pot and chip herself up to over five million.

Joseph Sicko Sitting on Ten Milly

Level 15 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Joseph Sicko was just seen calling his opponent's all in, tabling {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. His opponent started to get up from his seat, accepting defeat when he showed {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, massively dominated by Sicko.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, and Sicko's opponent picked up some outs to make trips or a back-door straight. The turn was the {5-Hearts}, and the river was the {6-Diamonds}, earning Sicko the pot, the elimination, and putting his stack at a cool ten million.
