Khun Takes From Zajmovic

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Ema Zajmovic raised to 350,000 from late position, and Chanracy Khun three-bet to 1,000,000. Zajmovic thought for a moment and decided to call.

The flop came {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and both players checked to the turn, which was the {3-Clubs}. Both players checked again, and the dealer put out the {j-Diamonds} on the river. Zajmovic checked, and Khun reached into his stack to make a bet of 1,525,000. Zajmovic thought for a moment and called.

Khun tabled {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for two pair, queens and jacks. Zajmovic mucked.

Quads for Griffin Benger

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Robin Hegele was in middle position and raised to 360,000. Action was on Griffin Benger in the cutoff and he moved all in for his last 2,815,000. Hegele quickly called.

It was a flip, with Benger tabling two red eights and Hegele revealing {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Benger pulled much further ahead, making a set of eights. The turn was the {4-Spades}, and the river was the {8-Spades}, just for good measure. Benger doubled with quad eights, surviving another hand as the bubble looms.

Table 60 is stacked with chips and notables. Here is a look at their counts:

Mehrabian Uses the Power of a Check-Raise

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Julian Milliard-Feral opened for a raise on the button and Sasan Mehrabian three-bet him from the big blind. Milliard-Feral called and the two players went heads-up to the flop with around 2,000,000 in the pot.

The flop came {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Mehrabian chose to check his option. Milliard-Feral bet 975,000 and Mehrabian called.

The turn was a {5-Diamonds} and once again Mehrabian checked. Milliard-Feral bet 2,225,000 which sent Mehrabian into the tank. After a couple of minutes of thinking, Mehrabian slid out enough chips for a raise to 5,000,000. Milliard-Feral threw his hand in the muck and Mehrabian took over the lead on his table.

Kings for the Oyster King!

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

The player in the hijack raised to 400,000, and Armand "Oyster King" King three-bet to 1,400,000 on the button. Jean-Philippe Piquette was in the big blind and four-bet to 2,600,000. The hijack folded, and King moved all in for 6,885,000. Piquette called.

"You wanna run it twice?" asked King. The entire tabled laughed as King tabled {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}. Piquette showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and had just three outs to pull ahead.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}, giving King a full house and Piquette trip queens. There was just one queen left in the deck, but the turn was the {4-Clubs} and the river was the {3-Diamonds}, giving King the double he was looking for.

Mike McDonald Triples Up!

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Mike McDonald has been waiting patiently throughout the first two levels and he finally found a spot to get all his chips in the middle. The action was folded around to him on the button and McDonald shoved for his remaining 820,000. Wesley Hickey was in the small blind with just over a million chips and he too moved all in. The big blind had both players covered and quickly called after looking at his cards.

McDonald: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Hickey: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Big Blind: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades}, giving McDonald the full triple up, and sending Hickey to the rail.

Chris Dowling
Chris Dowling

Stephan Chartrand raised to 475,000 from early position, and Vlad Mezheritsky three-bet to 1,150,000. Christopher Dowling was on the button and four-bet to 2,600,000. Chartrand got out of the way, and Mezheritsky moved all in for 11,800,000. Dowling called. To his disappointment, he found himself on the wrong side of a massive cooler, just before the money. Mezheritsky was the player at risk.

Mezheritsky: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Dowling: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Mezheritsky did a little fist pump, doubling up in a massive pot.
