Closing In on the Guarantee
With a little over an hour to go before late registration closes, the smiles are starting to get a little bigger on the faces of the tournament staff. The field has grown to 375 entries in search of that ultimate goal of 400 to reach the $10 million guaranteed prizepool. The players will head on a 60-minute dinner break at the end of this level with registration staying open throughout.
In a field stacked with professional poker players and the best players from all around the world, it's a bit of a surprise to see a few recreational players at the top of the leaderboard.
