Big Tony Doubles Through Simao

Level 12 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Big Tony
Big Tony

Big Tony shoved all in from the hijack for 380,000 in total and was called by Joao Simao in the small blind.

Big Tony: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Joao Simao: {A-Spades}{2-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs} - no danger for Big Tony as he doubled up leaving the partypoker Ambassador, Simao, behind with a bit more than 5 big blinds.

Schemion Doubles With Aces

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion

Jean-Noel Thorel opened the action with a raise to 150,000 in the hijack and Big Tony three-bet on the button to 500,000. Ole Schemion moved all in for 1.49 million from the big blind, which forced a fold from Thorel and a call from Big Tony.

Ole Schemion: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Big Tony: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

As soon as Big Tony could see the cards of his opponent, he could all but smile and rolled over his own cards very reluctantly, ready to leave. The Italian picked up a flush draw on the {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, but the {5-Diamonds} turn and {K-Diamonds} river bricked off. Schemion didn't have Big Tony covered, though, and the Italian was left short.

Zhang Rising Again

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Chi Zhang won a bigger pot off Antonello Capobianco with trips aces on a board of {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} when he could not beat the {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} of the Brit.

One table over, Mustapha Kanit raised to 110,000 from the button and Dietrich Fast in the big blind glanced over. Kanit replied with his stack size before the start of the hand, and Fast called. There was no betting action on the board {K-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Fast briefly showed {J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, which Kanit had beat with {A-Spades}{7-Diamonds}.

Aldemir Doubles Through Thomas

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Julian Thomas had previously doubled through Koray Aldemir after spiking a fortunate river and Aldemir just returned the favor when his {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} got there against {A-}{7-} in a battle button versus small blind. The board came {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Aldemir jumped back to starting stack.

Big Tony's Deuces Are Enough

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Ole Schemion raised to 125,000 from mid-position and was called by Jean-Noel Thorel, on the button, and Big Tony in the big blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, Big Tony check-called the 125,000 bet of Schemion while Thorel folded.

The turn brought them the {10-Diamonds}, Big Tony check-called again but now it was a bet of 350,000.

The river completed the board with the {a-Clubs} on which they both checked. Big Tony tabled {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} which was enough for Schemion to muck his hand.

Kaiser is "Impossible to Bluff"

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Tobias Ziegler raised to 100,000 and Patrik Antonius three-bet to 350,000 out of the small blind. Ziegler moved all in and Antonius folded with 20 big blinds behind.

Leon Tsoukernik bet the heads-up flop of {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} for 125,000 from the big blind and Ronny Kaiser raised it up to 400,000 in the cutoff. Tsoukernik inquired about the stack size of the Swiss, who replied "I have two million behind" and gave it some more thought before clicking it up to 1.125 million. Kaiser moved all in and Tsoukernik folded with the words "impossible to bluff."

On the tail end of a hand between Antonello Capobianco and Jean-Noel Thorel, the latter bet the {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} river for 450,000 and Thorel called. Capobianco shook his head and flipped over the {A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, which Thorel had beat with {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Fast Forces Folds

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Dietrich Fast raised to 90,000 from the under-the-gun position and was called by Leon Tsoukernik in the hijack. Philipp Gruissem three-bet to 340,000 from the cutoff. Dominik Nitsche, on the button, tanked. After about two minutes he decided to four-bet to 740,000. Fast shoved all in.

Tsoukernik folded quickly, Gruissem folded with a bit of disappointment showing on his face. Nitsche needed more time to take a decision. He counted his stack, looked at Gruissem with a bit of a smile. He then looked at his cards again. About two minutes later, he folded.

Tsoukernik Doubles Nitsche Up

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Ronny Kaiser raised to 85,000 from mid-position, Leon Tsoukernik three-bet to 280,000 on the button. Dominik Nitsche took his time in the big blind and then decided to shove. Kaiser folded and Tsoukernik called.

Dominik Nitsche: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Leon Tsoukernik: {A-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Spades} to give Tsoukernik a pair of queens and Nitsche the straight draw. The turn brought them the {10-Hearts} which is exactly what Nitsche needed. Only a king would prevent the double up and the {7-Hearts} on the river wasn't that so Nitsche avoided the split and got the full double-up.
