On a flop of , Leon Tsoukernik open-shoved into table neighbor Philipp Gruissem and the latter called it off for what appeared to be 700,000.

Gruissem was in dire shape and needed running hearts or runner runner cards for a full house in order to avoid the elimination. However, the turn left him drawing dead and the river was a mere formality. "Sorry man," Tsoukernik said over to Gruissem, who was eliminated in 17th place. The remaining 16 hopefuls will redraw to the last two tables momentarily.

Koray Aldemir raised to 125,000 and Timothy Adams in the small blind three-bet to 380,000. Back on Aldemir, the German four-bet all in for what appeared to be 1.03 million and Adams called instantly.

Aldemir was in trouble and even the suits were covered. A blank board of was of no help and that was it for Aldemir.

The very next hand, Johannes Becker opened to 120,000 in the hijack and Adams clicked it up to 420,000 on the button. Becker squeezed to 1.2 million with 2.6 million behind and Adams sent his cards into the muck.
