Enright Busts; The Talk Left Short

Level 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

John Enright was all in and at risk for around 550,000 on the {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop and his opponent had him barely covered with a stack of 593,000, showing {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a flush draw. Enright had the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and the {9-Clubs} turn and {8-Clubs} river instead completed the back door straight straight to eliminate Enright.

The Talk has been somewhat silenced after his stack dropped to only 200,000. In a recent hand he bet the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Hearts} river for 200,000 out of the small blind and his sole remaining opponent Andrzej Skoczylas on the button raised to 450,000. The Talk called and was shown {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

"I knew you had a set but I had to see," The Talk said and flashed {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for trips jacks only.

Akenhead Takes from Ivgy

Level 2 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Kfir Ivgy has been running riot on his table early on to boost the stack and bully all opponents, and he just tried to do the same with James Akenhead. The latter was in the small blind and faced a bet of 325,000 by Ivgy with 900,000 in the middle to the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{6-Clubs} river. Akenhead eventually called and Ivgy turned over {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}, which Akenhead had beat with the {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

Level 2 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

In a four-bet pot to the {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, Stephen Ayres bet and called the shove of Gary Tomney to see the latter turn over {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. Ayres only had the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} but got there with the {Q-Diamonds} turn and {2-Clubs} river. "You called the four-bet with deuces? Really?" an upset Tomney said before heading to the rail.

More Players are Pouring In

Level 1 : 5,000/10,000, 5,000 ante

The overflow of Day 1c bustouts, new entries and fresh faces that just arrived has seen the Day 1d field climb to 132 entries close to the end of level one.

Darie Back in Action

Level 1 : 5,000/10,000, 5,000 ante

Oldrich Travnicek rivered a full house with {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} thanks to the {2-Hearts} as final community card and his bet of 64,000 was called by Stefan Dumitrescu, who mucked when being shown the full house.

Daniel Wilson raised to 25,000 and Vlad Darie, who previously busted on Day 1c, three-bet to 80,000 from one seat over on the button. Only the big blind called and the flop fell {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The big blind checked and Darie's bet of 200,000 won the pot uncontested.

The Talk Takes a Hit

Level 1 : 5,000/10,000, 5,000 ante

With 110,000 in the middle and the flop showing {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, The Talk checked out of the big blind and called a bet of 125,000 by Christian Stoyanov on the button. The {6-Hearts} turn and the {J-Hearts} river were checked and Stoyanov showed the {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}. The Talk had a dry smile on the face and flashed his {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} before sending the cards into the muck.

The same table also features Jozef Bartalos in the five seat.
