Kabrhel Takes from Kanit

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

The Talk was down to a mere 100,000 after the break and has since doubled twice to get almost back up to starting stack. This also applies for Martin Kabrhel, who was down to around 600,000 recently.

Mustapha Kanit defended his big blind against Kabrhel's raise and check-called a bet of 50,000 on the {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop. On the {9-Clubs} turn both players checked and Kanit bet the {6-Spades} river for 225,000. Kabrhel called to see Kanit roll over {Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a pair of fours only, and the Czech had that beat with the {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for a set.

"Oh Mustapha what are you doing. Now I get a free re-entry," he joked.

Lampropulos Among Casualties

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

Maria Lampropulos is no longer in the field and her stack was sent over to Felipe Ramos, who climbed to more than two times the starting stack. Same applies for Sergei Petrushevskii, Philipp Zukernik and Sergio Castelluccio.

Tooran Continues Hot Start

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

Siamak Tooran was already up to more than 1.8 million and he just added even more chips to his growing stack. In a heads-up pot to the {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, he faced a bet of 160,000 and opted to raise to 400,000. His table neighbor called and Tooran turned over {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the king-high flush to claim yet another big pot.

Karlic and Luske Among Latest Entries

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

Keith Cummins won a pot in the first level of the day when his pocket fours flopped a set and his opponent bet an ace-high paired river for 160,000. Cummins called and was shown pocket fives only. The Irishman has since lost a pot but remains above the starting stack.

For partypoker sponsored pro Marcel Luske it is the second attempt to run up a stack after bowing out on Day 1a, and Warm Up champion Gerald Karlic also just took a seat. Andrej Desset may be among the first re-entries for Day 1d.

Delfoco and Primerano Climbing

Level 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A rambling Garfield was in no mood to be happy at all after his pocket aces were just cracked. "You have to pay €5,300 for this tournament and you go all in with no hand?" the Czech and local regular went on while his {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} were dragged into the muck. It was Daniele Primerano who had cracked the best starting hand after the three-bet pot saw the Italian get his stack in after the {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop with the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. The {9-Spades} turn immediately locked up the hand for Primerano, making the {3-Spades} river a formality.

Another Italian has started well into Day 1d and that is Francesco Delfoco. He took a big chunk out of Kfir Ivgy's stack with {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} when check-raising the {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} tuirn from 65,000 to 325,000. Ivgy called and lost the minimum on the river to drop to half a starting stack.

Lampropulos Folds to Jam

Level 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Maria Lampropulos
Maria Lampropulos

In a three-bet pot between Maria Lampropulos and Ashkan Fattahi, a pot of 850,000 emerged and the turn showed {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. Fattahi checked from the hijack and Lampropulos did so on the button. The {7-Hearts} fell on the river and Fattahi moved all in. Lampropulos had 540,000 remaining, double-checked her cards and elected to fold.

"Show one card," Anatoly Filatov demanded. Fattahi double-checked his cards and revealed the {6-Diamonds} while dragging in the big pot with a smile on the face. "Oh that's boring, a set of sixes," the partypoker sponsored pro added. The same table also features Felipe Ramos as well.

Schemion Sighting

Level 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Some 194 players are already taking part in the final starting day mid-way through level three and the late registration remains open for another six levels and following breaks. Among the big names to take part is also Ole Schemion and the German superstar sits right next to fellow countryman Robert Zipf.

On the {J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} turn, Schemion bet 50,000 into a pot of 110,000 out of the small blind and his sole remaining opponent opted to raise to 150,000. That's all it took to force a fold from Schemion, who remains below the starting stack for now.
