Break

The 132 remaining players have just gone for their last break of the day which will last 20 minutes due to a chip raise.

The Money Bubble is Looming

Level 18 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Robert Bickley
Robert Bickley

Jon Kyte raised to 350,000 from the hijack and Artan Dedusha called on the button. Ales Karban moved all in for 725,000 in the big blind and Kyte reraised to 2.0 million. Dedusha let go and the cards were tabled.

Ales Karban: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Jon Kyte: {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board came {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Karban missed out on the money.

Same applies for Richard Sheils, who called all in after the {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs} turn and showed the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Robert Bickley turned over {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for two pair and the {7-Hearts} on the river failed to improve Sheils. Bickley has fond memories of the King's Casino, as the Brit finished 4th in the €10,300 WSOPE Main Event in 2017 at this very venue.

At the same time the floor was called to a nearby table. Oliver Heidel had check-raised big on a flop of {K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}, making it 2.275 million to go. Vojtech Ruzicka announced all in and Heidel was sent into the think tank. The clock was called on him and Heidel eventually folded.

There are only 132 players remaining and the money bubble is looming.

Level 18 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Joao Simao
Joao Simao

Joao Simao just eliminated Timo Kamphues with queens against ace-king and is playing a more than 3 times average stack right now.

The floor just announced that all the dealers need to announce the all-ins and calls at their tables so they are aware of exactly how many players there are left. The bubble is approaching soon.

Oliver Heidel: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Imad Fakhro: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The {7-Hearts} turn and {2-Clubs} river secured the big double for Heidel.

Franklin Downed by Silcock

Level 18 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Ryan Franklin was already all in from under the gun and awaited his fate while Christopher Andler and Rickie Silcock in the big blind were still active in the hand and checked the {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop. On the {10-Hearts} turn, Silcock bet 1.8 million and Andler folded.

Ryan Franklin: {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Rickie Silcock: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Franklin needed a nine and a nine only to avoid missing out on the money, but a blank {6-Clubs} river failed to improve the American.

Ivan Sheptytskyi shoved all in for 1,970,000 from the under-the-gun position and was called by Philipp Gruissem in the cutoff. Joseph Parsons confirmed the amount and then decided to also shove from the button for 2,795,000. Gruissem called once more.

Joseph Parsons: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Philipp Gruissem: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{q-Hearts} - Parsons won the hand with the jacks in his hand and Sheptytskyi was eliminated.

Lijo Doubles Through Maini

Level 18 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Towards the very end of the previous level Vishal Maini took a big hit to his stack and lost nearly half of it to table neighbor Lander Lijo.

Lijo's cutoff raise was called by Maini and the Spaniard bet one third of the pot on the {J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. Lijo then bet the {10-Spades} turn for 750,000 and Maini called before the Spaniard shoved the {5-Hearts} river. Maini called with {J-}{10-} only for Lijo to turn over {A-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for trips treys.
