Aleksandr Davydov opened the action with a raise from under the gun and Anton Smirnov three-bet to 225,000. Smirnov only had around 50,000 behind him and Garik Mesropyan in the next seat four-bet to 550,000. The rest of the table folded, as did Davydov, and Smirnov made the call.

It was a safe flop for Smirnov, but the turn brought the king of spades which gave Mesropyan the lead, and the former held on the river to record another elimination.
Shortly after play began following the second break of the day, a few more faces have joined the field, and one of most familiar is Maria Lampropulos.

Kiryl Radzivonau was in the small blind and called to see the flop after Aleksandr Davydov had three-bet to 175,000 from the big blind. The flop came down , and Radzivonau check-called a 180,000 bet. Both players checked on the turn, before Radzivonau bet on the river.
Davydov gave his decision some thought before he folded and conceded the pot to Belarus' Radzivonau.
According to the screens, there are 150 players out of 187 entries remaining and they have been sent into the second 15-minute break of the day. Among those to bust prior to that were Mikhail Zamiga, Arseniy Karmatskiy and Sergey Terentyev.
Alexander Zubov and Mikhail Galitskiy just went to battle in the blinds, which resulted in the latter moving all in for 1.4m.
The board was down , and Zubov bet 175,000 after Galitskiy had checked. Zubov, who had around 800,000 behind, saw Galitskiy moved all in for a massive 1.4m.
Zubov needed time to think and was visible unsure of what his next move would be. With his tournament life at risk by calling he decided to fold, and Galitskiy raked in the pot.
After defending his big blind against a raise by Kirill Kruglov, Askar Bekbaev checked the flop and called a bet of 75,000 by Kruglov. The on the turn was checked through by both and the fell on the river. Bekbaev's bet of 100,000 ended up taking down the pot without further resistance, as Kruglov sent his cards into the muck.
The biggest stack on the same table, and possibly on Day 1A near the end of level four, belongs to Boris Yanpolskiy in the nine seat.
On the flop of , Aik Matosyan and Yevgeny Kafelnikov both invested 160,000 to see the on the turn. Matosyan announced all in and tossed in a single chip to do so, and the snap-call of Kafelnikov followed.
Matosyan was first to show and flipped over for a full house, yet he could not win the hand anymore as Kafelnikov held the for quads to lock up the double for his last 195,000 right there. The meaningless completed the board and Kafelnikov moved back closer to the starting stack.
Nikita Kalinin was in the small blind and up against two opponents with the completed board down . With the action of Kalinin, he thought for a couple of minutes before he bet 275,000 into a pot worth around 600,000.
Aleksandr Shevelev in the big blind also needed time to think before he ultimately folded. The final player in the hand was Vitaliy Li, who was under the gun, and gave himself another 30 seconds of thinking time before he let his hand go as Kalinin picked up the pot.
