Chernokoz Among the Chip Leaders

Level 22 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

A pot of more than 5.0 million had emerged until the river of a board {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and Saar Wilf checked over to his table neighbor Andrey Chernokoz, who bet 3.7 million.

"This makes no sense. Would you check ace-king?" Wilf said. Without using a time bank, he then folded and added "show me nine-ten," however, Chernokoz raked in the pot without showing any card and a big smile on the face.

Thursfield Pays Off Iliyaguev

Level 22 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

The completed board was down {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and both Iliya Iliyaguev and Egor Evsin had checked to Luke Thursfield who bet 800,000. Iliyaguev raised to 2,00,000 and Evsin folded. Thursfield thought for 30 seconds before he decided to call.

Iliyaguev tabled pocket tens for a full house and Thursfield conceded the pot. Evsin said to the table he had folded pocket aces, and Thursfield showed pocket kings.

Farrell Flushes Arbatskiy

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

Niall Farrell opened from middle position and a short-stacked Ivan Arbatskiy three-bet all in for nine big blinds from one seat over, Farrell called.

Ivan Arbatskiy: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}
Niall Farrell: {7-Spades}{4-Spades}

The {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop was magic for Farrell as he flopped the flush, but Arbatskiy had the redraw to the nut flush. The {2-Diamonds} turn and {6-Clubs} river were both blanks and that was it for Arbatskiy.

Moments later, Dmitriy Ponomarev vanished from a different table and became the next casualty.

Khordbin Rises to a Big Stack

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Sergey Blagodarniy and Andrey Litvinov were eliminated from the same table in quick succession.

Litvinov faced the shove of Hadi Khordbin in the big blind on a three-way turn of {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and used five of his six time banks before calling it off for around 2 million in the cutoff. Vladislav Solovyev quickly folded on the button and the cards were turned over.

Andrey Litvinov: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Hadi Khordbin: {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}

Litvinov had plenty of outs, but the {3-Clubs} on the river was not among them to send him to the rail.

Pilkington Doubles

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The action folded around to Jonas Kuznik in the cutoff, and he moved all in for around 3.5m. Niall Farrell folded on the button, as did the player in the small blind and with the action now on Jessica Pilkington in the big blind she went into the tank.

Pilkington, who had a stack of 2.7m behind her, needed to use two timebank cards before she decided to call.

Jonas Kuznik: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Jessica Pilkington: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Board: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The flop gave her trips and all but sealed her double up which was confirmed as the board completed to no avail for Kuznik.

The Czech was left with just 400,000 chips but was able to find a treble up just a few hands later.
