Day 3 of the partypoker LIVE UK Poker Championships £1,100 Main Event is here with 78 players returning to the Dusk Till Dawn Cardroom and Casino to battle for a place in tomorrow's final day and a chance to win the £187,500 first-place prize.
When the players take their seats at noon, Daniel Morgan (5,015,000) will begin the day's play as the chip-leader with Alex Harrison (4,600,00), and Mark Mcgovern (3,585,000) completing the top three counts.
A pick of the UK players in action today includes Jamie O'Connor (3,300,000), 2017 WSOP bracelet-winner Chris Brammer (2,250,000), recent partypoker MILLIONS Germany Super High Roller winner Michael Chi Zhang (2,425,000) and this week's UKPC Super High Roller champion Steven Morris (2,900,000). Also in the field are the German trio of Manig Loeser (3,090,000), Fabio Sperling (2,595,000) and Patrice Brandt (2,000,000).
The partypoker LIVE UK Poker Championships £1,100 Main Event attracted 1,076 entries across four starting flights, and at the start of yesterday's Day 2 288 had returned.
Alex Luz, Ludovic Geilich, Adam 'IT5PAYDAY' Neal and Andrew Laurie started yesterday's play as the four Day 1 flight chip-leaders, but all exited the action before the end of Day 2. Laurie cashed in 96th place for £3,000 with Luz and Neal taking home £3,500, while Geilich failed to make the money spots.
Yesterday's hand-for-hand play on the money bubble latest nearly 45-minutes with Dahe Liu the unfortunate player to fall short and was awarded with a £220 UKPC Finale ticket as a consolation prize.
Like Day 2, eight 60-minute levels will be played out today, resulting in the remaining players bagging their chips and returning for tomorrow's final day and the crowning of a winner. A minimum of £3,500 is guaranteed for the returning players today with next payout jump coming in at 72nd place for £4,000.

Ben Vinson raised from early position to 65,000 and start-of-day chip leader Daniel Morgan defended his big blind. The flop came and Morgan check-called a bet of 55,000. The turn was checked by both players and Morgan bet 220,000 on the river.
Vinson thought for a short while before calling. Morgan showed for two pair - jacks and kings, and took down the pot.

A British quartet of Steven Morris, Chris Sly, David Vamplew and Andrew Wilson are all sat together for Day 3, with Chris Brammer alongside Ali Ayub while on table 24 Ben Vinson a tablemate of Ryan Mandara and chip-leader Daniel Morgan.
Malcolm Mckinlay came into Day 3 as one of the shorts stacks with 335,000 and was eliminated in one of the very first hands.

Thomas Ward open-shoved for 330,000 from middle position. Chris Brice was in the small blind and re-shoved with the big blind folding.
"Show me the jacks," said Ward as he tabled . Brice shrugged and showed .
The flop came giving Brice a gutshot to crack Ward's queens. In the end he didn't need it with the on the turning handing him the elimination. The on the river sealed Ward's exit and he joined the slew of players making an early exit here on Day 3.

Tournament officials are circulating to announce that there will be ten levels played on Day 3 rather than the originally scheduled eight.
The board read when Day 3 chip-leader Daniel Morgan moved all in on Ryan Mandara.
There was around 650,000 in the pot and Mandara had close to 1,400,000 behind him. Morgan, who started the day with 5,300,000, put maximum pressure on Mandara's hand and after some thought he folded, which allowed Morgan to further increase his lead.
