Mulder Off to a Great Start

Level 9 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Teun Mulder in the €25K Super High Roller
Teun Mulder in the €25K Super High Roller

Teun Mulder and Jenya Gavrilovich are both in the tournament for the maximum of three bullets but Mulder is already close to the number of chips he paid for. Mulder started the hand with well over 2 million already.

The Dutchman raised from the hijack to 70,000 before Gavrilovich, who also entered today with a new stack of 1,000,000 like Mulder, called from the big blind.

The flop was dealt {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Gavrilovich check-called a bet of 55,000 from Mulder. Gavrilovich then took over the betting initiative on the {q-Diamonds} turn but Mulder had none of it. Gavrilovich bet 105,000 and Mulder raised to 250,000 after he asked how much Gavrilovich had behind.

Gavrilovich quickly folded and Mulder is closing in on 3,000,000 chips.

First Eliminations

Level 9 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The tournament was barely underway when the first 'player out' was announced in the tournament room. Three players have already busted in the first couple of minutes in the day.

They all bagged chips on either Day 1a or Day 1b and therefore still have the opportunity to buy-in on Day 2. If players entered today with a new stack they can't reenter.

Online Qualifiers, Late Resgistrants Added to the Field

Level 9 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The total number of entries has grown at the start of Day 2. With 102 online entries, and 81 late registrants added before the start of Day 2, the total is at 464 entries and counting.

Play begins at Level 9 today, and late registration will be available through the end of Level 10. Those players in the field who made it through Day 1a or 1b can re-enter through the end of late registration if they are knocked out early in Day 2. The players who just entered the tournament on Day 2 cannot re-enter.

The 15 qualifiers that made in through the 102-player online field will join the tournament here at King's Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, on Day 3.
