Plante Skyrockets Through Lam

Level 12 : 15,000/35,000, 35,000 ante

The flop read {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and there was about 600,000 in the middle. Santiago Plante and Sandy Lam both checked to the {q-Hearts} on the turn. Plante bet 235,000 and Lam instantly raised to 825,000.

Plante called and the dealer flipped over the {4-Spades} on the river. Plante checked to Lam who moved all in and Plante hit the tank for several minutes before Lam called clock on him.

The tournament director made it down to just one second before Plante called and Lam said "Nice call," as she turned over {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for queens over dimes. Plante tabled {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a turned full house and took down the pot for a full double through Lam.
