Tang Eliminated

Level 4 : 400/800, 800 ante

Danny Tang was already enquiring as to when re-entry closes after falling to 30,000 from his 100,000 starting stack.

After his {a-}{a-} was cracked by {6-Hearts}{8-Hearts} he then lost with pocket nines against aces on a {j-}{9-}{a-}{7-} board.

However, he'll need to find out that information sooner than he had hoped after losing with kings against a rivered straight of Anton Wigg who held {a-}{j-} on {a-}{10-}{k-}{6-}{q-}

Good Start for Imsirovic

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ali Imsirovic was one of the latest entries since the past break and wasted no time in jumping straight into the action. The action was folded around to the button who made it 2,200 to go and Imsirovic called from the big blind.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and both players checked to the {4-Diamonds} on the turn. Imsirovic led out for 6,000 and his opponent called to see the {9-Spades} on the river. Imsirovic fired out another bet of 6,000 and his opponent dipped into the tank before making the call. Imsirovic turned over {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for two pair and his opponent mucked his cards.

Ho Doubles Through Geilich

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Maria Ho at the partypoker MILLIONS event in Montreal
Maria Ho at the partypoker MILLIONS event in Montreal

On a {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop Tom Middleton bet 5,000 and Ludovic Geilich called. Maria Ho raised to 20,000. Middleton folded and Geilich tanked and eventually raised to 95,000, covering Ho. She called and was all in for 86,600.

Ludovic Geilich: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Maria Ho: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Ho had flopped a set and the {3-Diamonds} improved her to a full house. The river was the {k-Clubs} and she doubled to 200,000 in chips.

Big Flop for Cynn Eliminates Two, Vaults Him to the Chip Lead

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Picking up the action after the flop with the board reading {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, the main pot already had around 75,000 in the middle. The button was already all in and a side pot was being built between James Romero in the big blind and John Cynn in the hijack.

The turn brought the {4-Diamonds} and Romero check-called a bet of 33,000 from Cynn. The {a-Spades} completed the board with five cards to a straight on the board. Romero thought for over two minutes before shipping all in for around 50,000. Cynn snap-called and all three hands were tabled.

Romero showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} to play the board while Cynn flopped a flush with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. The button revealed {k-Spades}{5-Spades} before he joined Romero on the sidelines for the day.
