Kaverman Eliminated After Set Over Set

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} river Byron Kaverman bet 70,000 leaving himself just around 1,000 left in solely 100-value chips. His opponent was Dan Smith who shoved on Kaverman who called it off.

Smith showed {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a set of jacks and Kaverman flashed {7-}{7-} for a set of sevens and was eliminated.

Muehloecker Getting Short

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

George Wolff raised it up from the hijack and was called by Thomas Muehloecker in the cutoff and Brian Yoon in the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Yoon checked to Wolff who continued for 3,500. Muehloecker called and Yoon got out of the way.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Wolff stuck in another bet of 9,500. Muehloecker elected to fold this time and saw his stack fall to around 30,000 chips.

Yaroshevskyy Forced Into the Tank

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{a-Spades}, Igor Yaroshevskyy and Mike Watson were heads-up in the pot. Yaroshevskyy led out for 12,500 in middle position and Watson called from the button.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Yaroshevskyy checked this time. Watson flicked in a 25,000 chip and Yaroshevskyy dipped into the tank after facing a bet for most of his chips. After about four minutes, the clock was finally called and Yaroshevskyy instantly mucked his hand.

Small Pots for Yoon and Farrell

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Brian Yoon checked to Sosia Jiang on a {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{k-Hearts} board and she bet 4,000. Yoon check-raised to 18,000 and Jiang thought about it before folding.

Yoon still sits on below starting stack.

Meanwhile, Niall Farrell defended his big blind and check-called 1,800 from a player on the button on a {8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop. The pair checked the {6-Diamonds} turn and the river brought the {6-Clubs}. Farrell bet 3,000 and took down the pot, moving closer to 200,000 in chips.

Sinclair Shuts Down Post-Flop

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded around to the button who made it 2,200 to go. Jeremy Ausmus called from the small blind and Jack Sinclair three-bet to 12,500 in the big blind. The button quickly folded but Ausmus wanted to see a flop.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and both players checked to the {k-Hearts} on the turn. Ausmus led out for 12,000 and Sinclair wasted little time before flipping his cards to the muck.

Watson Sends Two the Rail

Level 6 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Tomas Jozonis was already all in and there was 7,000 on the side pot between Michael Dyer and Mike Watson. The board read {9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Dyer led out for 4,500. Watson called and the {8-Hearts} landed on the river.

Dyer fired out another 10,000 and Watson raised to 32,000. Dyer replied with a three-bet shove for around 117,000 and Watson confirmed the chips before calling. Dyer turned over {q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} but Watson held {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a full house. Watson scooped both of the pots and eliminated Dyer and Jozonis.
