Martirosian Doubles Into a Big Stack

Level 6 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Artur Martirosian
Artur Martirosian

Artur Martirosian was busy playing high stakes cash game on his mobile phone that it barely brought any attention to the face he was all-in preflop in a big pot. The Russian was at risk for 180,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and his opponent Paul Mcloughlin tabled the inferior {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

Nothing changed on the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} board and Martirosian briefly glanced up from his phone to verify the stack size before he had to stack them all up.

Shakiba Pushes Around Chan

Level 6 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Matthieu Chan faced a bet worth 33,000 on the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades} and was in the tank. His opponent Miad Shakiba gave away barely any information but when asked, agreed to show one card if Chan were to fold. That's indeed what happened and Shakiba exposed the {10-Hearts}.

Current chip leader on the corner table is Stefan Fabian

Belatik Eliminated by Azor

Level 6 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Ran Azor
Ran Azor

The hand details were relayed by Balazs Bizi, Ran Azor and Miltiadis Kyriakides, as Anas Belatik has been eliminated at the end of the previous level by Azor.

It was raised to 3,500 by Azor who then received calls from Kyriakides and Belatik. The {10-}{5-}{3-} flop with two clubs was checked to Kyriakides, who bet 4,000. Belatik raised it up for Azor to check-shove, forcing out Kyriakides and earning a call from Belatik.

Anas Belatik: {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for top pair top kicker
Ran Azor: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for the gutshot and nut flush draw

The {8-Clubs} turn and {6-Clubs} river left Belatik drawing dead on the turn already.

With already 9,000 invested by Sonia-Veronika Shashikhina and another player, Mustafa Biz then shipped it in for around 35,000. Shashikhina went all-in over the top and the third player in the hand folded what he declared as pocket pair.

Mustafa Biz: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Sonia-Veronika Shashikhina: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{a-Spades}{q-Spades} board gave Shashikhina the superior pair on the river and Biz was booted from Day 1c for now.

On a board of {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}, Yazan Mdanat bet 75,000 out of the small blind and that had Mustafa Biz covered. He went deep into the tank and released his cards into the muck.

They headed to the {2-Clubs} turn on which Mdanat check-called for 25,000 and jammed the {10-Spades} river. Karam folded and was shown queen-nine for a bluff.
