New Zealand's Dylan Rowe finished on top of a field of 2,420 entrants to win the WPT #01 WPT500 at partypoker for $181,545.

The event was one of two $530 buy-in events boasting a $1 million guarantee on the WPT500 schedule with the other being the WPT #13: WPT500 Knockout on March 15-23. The guarantee was smashed with entries generating a huge $1,211,000 prize pool.

It was a huge win for Rowe, who doesn't have many live results to speak of. In fact, according to The Hendon Mob, there has just been one that fit their requirements to be recorded.

Coincidentally, Rowe's only recorded result was in a WPT side event when the tour visited SkyCity Casino in New Zealand in 2019 when he went on to win the NZ$550 No Limit Hold'em - WPT New Zealand Six Max Shot Clock for NZ$16,640 ($10,857).
