Taylor Taken Down by Leonard

Level 5 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Leonard vs Taylor
Leonard vs Taylor

Thomas Taylor was all-in from the big blind for his last chips and up against Patrick Leonard in the small blind with the bigger stack.

Thomas Taylor: {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Patrick Leonard: {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for Leonard to river the pair of sevens to take Taylor out.

Ferreira Makes the Right Call

Level 5 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

The board read {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} with 546,000 in the middle already.

Joao Ferreira had opted to check from the big blind when Sergi Reixach decided to bet 327,600. This sent Ferreira into the thinking tank for a while before he decided to make the call. Reixach showed the {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the missed straight draw for Ferreira to scoop with the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} with the higher kicker.

Jantos Eliminated by Mikolaitis

Level 5 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Following a raise by Samuli Sipila, Jaime Staples elected to three-bet to 84,000 in the cutoff. Sipila came over the top with a four-bet and that shut down Staples.

One hand later, Dominykas Mikolaitis raised in the cutoff and called the jam of Radek Jantos for 214,107 in the small blind.

Radek Jantos: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Dominykas Mikolaitis: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Mikolaitis flopped best on {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} but had a sweat on the {j-Hearts} turn. The {10-Spades} river was no good for Jantos and that spelled the end for him.

Mattsson Gets Leonard to Fold

Level 5 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Simon Mattsson raised from the middle position and the action folded to Patrick Leonard in the small blind who three-bet to 96,000 for the big blind to fold and Mattsson to call.

The flop came {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, Leonard continued with a bet of 43,200 which was called.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and Leonard opted to check this time. Mattsson took over the initiative and led out for 55,600 which was enough for Leonard to let this hand go.

Hunting down partypoker “predators” earns you $22 tickets to the site’s Daily Legends tournament sporting the same name.

The $22 Predator is one of the most popular tournaments on the Daily Legends schedule. It runs Monday through Saturday at 5:05 p.m. GMT and features a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool.

That in itself is worth playing in the Predator, but the Predator Hunt promotion adds even more value. Up to 19 specially selected “predators” will frequent The Predator during the week and these 19 stars have an extra bounty on their heads in addition to the tournament’s bounty.

Vogelsang Busts Nolet

Level 4 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante
Vogelsang vs Nolet
Vogelsang vs Nolet

Tom Vogelsang three-bet to 70,000 and was called only by Guillaume Nolet. They checked the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and Nolet bet the {4-Clubs} turn for 90,387, which prompted a raise to 317,724 by Vogelsang and a call by Nolet.

The {10-Hearts} fell on the river and Nolet checked with 1,203,276 behind. Vogelsang moved all-in with the covering stack and Nolet tank-called with {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for jacks and sevens. That was no good as Vogelsang had {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for sevens full of fours.
