Selouan Short Again; Dvoress and Rudolph Battle

Level 19 : 70,000/140,000, 17,500 ante

Rodrigo Selouan raise-called a three-bet by chip leader Daniel Dvoress and then folded on a nine-high flop.

Up next, Dvoress min-raised to 280,000 and Christian Rudolph three-bet to 980,000. Dvoress made the call and check-folded the {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. Both tangled again in the very same three-bet spot. However, this time it was Dvoress who won a pot of more than 3.3 million as Rudolph let go on the turn.

Baldini Gets Put All-in by Jorstad

Level 19 : 70,000/140,000, 17,500 ante

Marco Baldini raised from the middle position and Espen Uhlen Jorstad three-bet to 1,176,000 from the big blind which Baldini called.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Spades}, Jorstad continued with a bet of 630,000 and was called again.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and Jorstad bet enough to put Baldini all-in who took some time but then opted to fold.

O'Dwyer Pays Off Vasylchenko

Level 19 : 70,000/140,000, 17,500 ante

On a completed board of {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, Oleg Vasylchenko made it 942,018 to go with a pot of 2,854,600 until then. Steve O'Dwyer was the only opponent left and tank-called to get shown the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} for trips tens by Vasylchenko.

That ended up winning the pot as O'Dwyer mucked and dropped below the average.

Top Ten Chip Counts After the Break

Level 19 : 70,000/140,000, 17,500 ante

Staples Does ASMR

Level 19 : 70,000/140,000, 17,500 ante

With 93 players left in the field, players are stalling left, right, and center. Jaime Staples is still going strong with his Twitch stream which has already surpassed 12 hours by now. In his stream, viewers can request things with their viewer points and one of them asked Staples to provide them with a short ASMR message. This is the result:

Abreu Takes From Ruijs

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Joris Ruijs raised to 400,000 and was called by Andre Abreu, which led them to the {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. Both players checked and Ruijs then bet small on the {5-Spades} turn, Abreu came along.

The {2-Spades} river was checked again by both players and Ruijs tabled the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for ace-king high. Abreu had that beat with {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and chipped up close to the bubble.

Heidorn Out Before the Bubble

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Heidorn vs Staples
Heidorn vs Staples

The money bubble has been reached as just 90 players remain and 89 of them will advance to Day 2, all of which will be guaranteed a slice of the cash prize pool.

Among those to bust in quick succession were Christopher Frank, Robert Heidorn and Niels de Moree.

Heidorn's demise came in a button push for the last 905,827, which Jaime Staples isolated by jamming out of the small blind.

Robert Heidorn: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Jaime Staples: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs} board left Heidorn drawing dead on the turn and he bowed out in 91st place.

Koon Short on the Bubble

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Jason Koon had doubled not long ago and was now involved in another big pot on the bubble to wrap up Day 1a. On a double-paired turn of {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}, Koon fired a bet of 1,222,500 into a pot of 4,890,000 and picked up a call by Gergo Hegedus.

The {j-Spades} river went check, check, and Koon's {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} were no good, as Hegedus had that beat with the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}.
