Top Ten Chip Counts After the Break

Level 13 : 25,000/50,000, 6,250 ante

Rann Shoves on Lampropulos

Level 13 : 25,000/50,000, 6,250 ante

Maria Lampropulos raised to 100,000 from the hijack and James Rann defended his big blind.

The flop came {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, Rann check-called the 68,750 continuation-bet of Lampropulos.

The turn was the {q-Clubs} and Rann opted to check again. This time, Lampropulos bet 206,250 for Rann to take some time. He then decided to shove with the bigger stack for Lampropulos to take some time to consider her options. After a while, she opted to fold.

Big Pot for Heidorn; Lucky Double for Staples

Level 13 : 25,000/50,000, 6,250 ante
Staples vs Heidorn
Staples vs Heidorn

In a three-bet pot, Manuel Ruivo paid off Robert Heidorn on the river of a {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} board. Heidorn bet 1 million into 1,020,000 out of the small blind and Ruivo called only to get shown the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for kings full by Heidorn.

The rush of Heidorn all but continued in the next hand when he raise-called the jam by Jaime Staples for 690,085 in a battle cutoff versus button.

Jaime Staples: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Robert Heidorn: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop gave Staples an open-ender and he got there on the {a-Hearts} turn, the {3-Spades} river failed to improve Heidorn.

Speiser Busts Boat Over Boat

Level 13 : 25,000/50,000, 6,250 ante

Hannes Speiser defended the small blind and a pot of more than 1 million emerged to the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts} river. Speiser checked with pretty much spot on ten blinds behind. Peter Chien was his sole remaining opponent and bet more than half a million, as Speiser check-called all-in instantly.

It was an unfortunate river card for the Austrian with {q-Spades}{j-Spades} as Chien had that crushed all the way with the {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for flopped kings full.

Hegedus Shoves On Chidwick

Level 13 : 25,000/50,000, 6,250 ante

The flop read {6-Spades}{9-Spades}{a-Diamonds} with 1,012,000 in the middle of the table already.

Stephen Chidwick bet 253,000 from the big blind and Gergo Hegedus raised it up to 626,000 from the button which was called by Chidwick.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Chidwick opted to check. Hegedus shoved for 1,636,255 for Chidwick to consider it for a bit before folding.

Kuznetsov No More

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Knoppers vs Kuznetsov
Knoppers vs Kuznetsov

Nikita Kuznetsov three-bet jammed his short stack out of the big blind and was called by Luigi Knoppers from an early position.

Nikita Kuznetsov: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Luigi Knoppers: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

There was no help for Kuznetsov on a board of {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} and that spelled the end for the Russian.

O'Dwyer Busts Lipp

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Lipp eliminated by O'Dwyer
Lipp eliminated by O'Dwyer

[Removed:220]: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Steve O'Dwyer: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The dominated pair found no help as instead, O'Dwyer made a set on the {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs} board.
