Nanos Nuked Out of the Tournament by Smiljkovic

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Dimitrios Nanos had his whole stack over the line from the cutoff and was up against Daniel Smiljkovic on the button with the bigger stack.

Dimitrios Nanos: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Daniel Smiljkovic: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The flop came {9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for Smiljkovic to hit the higher pair.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} to not change things before the {k-Spades} completed the board for Smiljkovic to improve to trips to eliminate Nanos.

Recent Eliminations

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

The field has dropped to 231 players out of 591 entries remaining and the latest batch of notables on the rail can be found below.

Rolle Roasted by Adamszki

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Rolle eliminated by Adamszki

The cards were already turned over and the all-in showdown was one of those typical setup hands.

On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}, Benjamin Rolle had flopped top set while Tamas Adamszki had the nut straight.

Rolle's {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} found no further help versus {a-Spades}{j-Spades}, as the {2-Spades} turn and {8-Clubs} river were both blanks.

Shortly after, Daniel Peche sent his chips over to Leon Euskirchen on the same table and that reduced the field further.

Juhasz Rivers a Set of Aces

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

The board read {4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} with 871,500 in the middle.

Dzmitry Urbanovich bet 287,595 from the big blind and was called by Benjamin Juhasz from under the gun.

The river completed the board with the {a-Diamonds} and Urbanovich opted to check this time. Juhasz led out for 420,000 and Urbanovich called but mucked when his opponent showed the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} for the rivered set.

Lampropulos Doubles Through Ramos

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

The board read {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds} with 522,900 in the middle. Both Dennys Ramos in the cutoff and Maria Lampropulos on the button opted to check.

The river completed the board with the {a-Spades} and Ramos opted to check again. Lampropulos decided to shove for 347,675 and was called by Ramos who held the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for two pair but Lampropulos showed the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for the full house and double-up.

Speiser Doubles Through Vogelsang

Level 11 : 17,500/35,000, 4,375 ante

Hannes Speiser three-bet jammed his short stack with the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} and was called by table big stack Tom Vogelsang with the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

There was no upset on a board of {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts} as the kicker played to ensure the double for Speiser.

Nuutinen Eliminated by Zerjav

Level 11 : 17,500/35,000, 4,375 ante
Nuutinen vs Zerjav
Nuutinen vs Zerjav

In a preflop raising war, Jorma Nuutinen raised to 122,500 after Christian Galvan had limped and that triggered a three-bet to 315,000 by Blaz Zerjav. Nuutinen subsequently four-bet jammed for just over a million and Zerjav reluctantly called.

Jorma Nuutinen: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Blaz Zerjav: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Nuutinen flopped best on {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} but the {j-Clubs} turn gave Zerjav broadway, the {10-Diamonds} river failed to provide any chop.

Sam Greenwood departed a few hands later. The Canadian first doubled his severe short stack before coming up short with king-ten against the king-queen of Pedro Zagalo.

Jouhkimainen Eliminated by Hollanda

Level 11 : 17,500/35,000, 4,375 ante

Hollanda vs Jouhkimainen

Justin Ouimette won the Mini Main Event earlier this week and is also in this tournament to try and make it two. He raised to 73,499 from the early position and was called by Sven Poerschke in the hijack. Joni Jouhkimainen three-bet shoved from the cutoff for 300,773 for Luciano Hollanda to four-bet to 528,500 from the button. The blinds folded and so did Ouimette and Poerschke for the two players to go heads-up.

Joni Jouhkimainen: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Luciano Hollanda: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The flop came {7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for Hollanda to stay ahead with the pocket pair.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} for Hollanda to improve to a set while Jouhkimainen to pick up the gutshot to a straight but he bricked the river as the {4-Spades} completed the board.

Koon Jams Into Deadman

Level 11 : 17,500/35,000, 4,375 ante

Joining the action on the {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop, Simon Deadman made it 93,555 to go and Jason Koon raised to 227,500 on the button. Deadman came along and then checked the {4-Hearts} turn, after which he called a bet with 402,500 by Koon.

The {a-Clubs} river completed the board and Deadman checked with some 1.2 million behind. Koon emptied the clip and moved all-in, which forced a fold from Deadman.
