partypoker representatives Jaime Staples, Mikita Badziakouski, Kristen Bicknell, Dzmitry Urbanovich, and Jason Koon are still in the running together with a slew of players who qualified through one of the many satellites partypoker had on offer. Two of them even came through the $5 versions, Alan Ford (7,919,769) and Martin Bremner (2,167,427) both made Day 2 and are recording an incredible return on investment already.

This is what they are all playing for:

Staples Stops Reixach

Staples vs Reixach
Staples vs Reixach

Daniel Smyth raised to 308,000 from under the gun and Sergi Reixach three-bet shoved from the cutoff for 2,099,540. Jaime Staples made the call on the button while the blinds and Smyth folded.

Sergi Reixach: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Jaime Staples: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for Staples to stay ahead.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} for Staples to improve to two pair but for Reixach to pick up the nut-flush draw.

The river completed the board with the {k-Diamonds} to not change things as the Twitch streamer sent the Spaniard to the rail.

Arends; Koon and Bicknell No More

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Jiang vs Bicknell
Jiang vs Bicknell

Jason Koon chopped with ace-seven versus ace-eight but vanished shortly after in 128th place. Right after, another big name fell.

Jans Arends saw his stack cut in half by Adrian Mateos and he then lost a flip with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} against the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} of Kristen Bicknell.

Bicknell moved up to more than 5 million but she then clashed with Sosia Jiang. The New Zealander defended the big blind to see a flop of {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} and check-raised to 2,080,000. Bicknell jammed for 5.5 million and Jiang called.

Kristen Bicknell: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Sosia Jiang: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {j-Clubs} turn gave Jiang straight outs and she indeed got there on the {9-Clubs} river to eliminate Bicknell in cruel fashion.

Jaime Staples raised to 420,000 from the early position and Christian Nolte shoved from the middle position for 2,861,287. The action folded back to Staples who quickly made the call.

Christian Nolte: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Jaime Staples: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} for Staples to hold with the flopped pair of aces to eliminate Nolte who qualified through one of the $530 satellites.

Deadman Eliminated by Urbanovich

Level 21 : 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante
Deadman vs Urbanovich
Deadman vs Urbanovich

Simon Deadman lost half his stack when Dominykas Mikolaitis forced a fold on an ace-high river that featured a four-card straight.

Shortly after, Mikolaitis opened to 420,000 in late position and Deadman jammed the hijack for 4,795,359. Dzmitry Urbanovich reshoved for more than 14.5 million in the cutoff and Mikolaitis folded.

Simon Deadman: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Dzmitry Urbanovich: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The case queen on the {q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop left Deadman in dire shape as he needed running aces or clubs to survive. It was all over on the {9-Diamonds} turn and the {a-Spades} river was too little too late for the Brit.

Aki Virtanen: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Jaime Staples: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for Staples to flop top pair to eliminate Virtanen in 83rd place for $13,931 after getting in through a $530 satellite.

Poker Philanthropist Scott Wellenbach Making Deep Run in the MILLIONS Main Event

Level 25 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante
Scott Wellenbach
Scott Wellenbach

Among the top stacks in the virtual room is Scott Wellenbach, a Buddhist text translator hailing from Halifax, Canada. Wellenbach made headlines at the 2019 PCA where a dream run ultimately came to an end in third place for $671,000. The run was made memorable as Wellenbach vowed beforehand to pledge ALL his poker winnings to charity, something he did earlier back in 2017 after a deep run at the EPT in Barcelona.

Months after his incredible performance, PokerNews' Valerie Cross caught up with Wellenbach in Monte Carlo to learn more about his charitable actions. In 2017, Buddhist nuns in Nepal shared the spoils from his Barcelona run. REG charities like Against Malaria Foundation, Humane Slaughter Association and more notable names such as Oxfam and Doctors Without Borders were among those to receive a boost from the PCA score.

Why give away all the money that he wins in poker? "Because I can," Wellenbach simply said back in 2019. "My needs are taken care of and I've done really well investing over the last number of decades, so I can afford to do it."

To learn more about the poker philanthropist, watch the video with Jeff Platt after his PCA Main Event deep run and check the article for a more in-depth look into the life of the Canadian.

Enselme Eliminated by Urbanovich

Enselme vs Urbanovich
Enselme vs Urbanovich

Arnaud Enselme moved all-in for the last 2,192,142 from the hijack and forced all but one opponent to fold. Dzmitry Urbanovich in the big blind gave it some consideration and indeed made the call.

Arnaud Enselme: {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Dzmitry Urbanovich: {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Urbanovich gained the lead on the {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop and remained there throughout the {q-Spades} turn and {a-Clubs} river. Vitaly Zheleztsov and Jeremy Saderne also departed prior, reducing the field further.
