Tentnowski Sees a Favorable Flop

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Stanton Tentnowski
Stanton Tentnowski

All of the chips went into the middle preflop for a pot of 1.1 million between "Dise57" in the small blind and Stanton "Stonniepokes" Tentnowski in the hijack, who covered his opponent by only 71,000.

"Dise57": {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Stanton "Stonniepokes" Tentnowski: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

"Dise57" went from needing to fade a three outer to drawing dead as the flop came {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. The turn {j-Hearts} and river {6-Clubs} completed the runout and they were knocked out of the tournament.

"bitemetony99" Misses a Three Outer

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

"bitemetony55" three-bet jammed in the cutoff for 511,000 over an under-the-gun open from "chaposticks," who called once action made it back to them.

"bitemetony55": {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
"chaposticks": {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Spades} and "bitemetony55" saw their hand remain second best to result in their elimination from the tournament.

"DJDonP14", "wolverine1017", and "Stevehung" Bust; Tournament Is In The Money

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
"DJDonP14"
"DJDonP14"

Action folded around to "DJDonP14" on the button and they opened to 180,000. "OK4u6033" called in the small blind and action went heads up to a flop of {j-Hearts}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts}, where "Ok4u6033" checked and then called off "DJDonP14's" shove for their remaining 92,000.

"DJDonP14": {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
"Ok4u6033": {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

"DJDonP14" had the best hand when the last of the chips went in and the turn {2-Spades} put one card between them and a double. Unfortunately for them, the river fell {10-Diamonds} to complete a straight for "Ok4u6033" and "DJDonP14" was eliminated fro the tournament in 75th place.

Moments later, "wolverine1017" and "Stevehung" were also eliminated from the tournament to bring the field down to 72 and have the tournament reach the money.

"FlopMonster" Gets There on the River; "treetrap" Is Less Fortunate

Level 23 : 18,000/36,000, 4,500 ante

Two all-in preflop scenarios just occurred on adjacent tables simultaneously.

One hand saw Jon “Jetsfan411” Borenstein raise and call a shove from "FlopMonster" where Borenstein held {10-}{10-} and "FlopMonster" held {a-}{q-}. Borenstein was ahead all the way until the river {a-} saved "FlopMonster's" tournament life.

In the other hand, a series of blind-on-blind preflop raises saw "xeerock" in the small blind having "treetrap" all in for their tourament life in the big blind.

"xeerock" held {q-}{q-} and it remained best versus the {9-}{9-} that "treetrap" held to result in them taking 76th place in the tournament. Just three more eliminations are needed for play to reach the money.

"rms206" Eliminated in 77th

Level 23 : 18,000/36,000, 4,500 ante
"rms206"
"rms206"

Tony "ToNiSiNzz" Sinishtaj opened in early position and action folded around to the big blind, where "rms206" three-bet shoved for 783,000. Sinishtaj called.

"rms206": {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Tony "ToNiSiNzz" Sinishtaj: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

"rms206" was unable to find a nine as the board ran out {4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and they were eliminated in 77th place. Seventy-six remain and just more eliminations are needed to reach the money, with hand-for-hand play set begin when 74 remain.
