Scott Seiver Out

It looks like Scott Seiver is the first player to bust out of the $25,000 High Roller Event. We got word that Seiver ran his pocket queens into Jason Mercier's pocket kings to bust.

Registration is now closed as well and we should have some numbers for you shortly as to how many entered and what the prizepool is.

Nazari Doing Well

Poorya Nazari just picked up another flop after firing the flop and turn on a board of {Q-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {4-Spades} {7-Spades}. On the flop, he fired 1,400 and was called by Brett Richey. On the turn, he fired 3,800 and Richey folded.

The champion of last year's PCA Main Event is doing well here in the High Roller Event with 70,000 chips.

River Bet Wins for Gomes

From under the gun, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier raised to 800. Benny Spindler called from middle position and Alexandre Gomes called from the big blind.

All three players checked the {J-Hearts} {10-Spades} {4-Diamonds} flop and then {Q-Spades} hit the felt on the turn. Gomes bet 1,600 and ElkY folded. Spindler made the call.

The river card was the {9-Diamonds} and Gomes fired 4,300. Spindler folded and Gomes won the pot to move up to 37,000. Spindler is on 27,000 and reigning champion ElkY is on 26,000.

Nazari Takes One Without Showdown

Poorya Nazari raised to 800 and was called in two spots. First by Brett Richey in middle position and then by the player on the button. The flop came down {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {7-Clubs} and everyone checked.

The turn card was the {9-Spades} and Nazari fired 3,300. Richey called and the button folded.

The river card was the {J-Hearts} and Nazari bet 7,050. Richey folded, leaving himself with 44,000. Nazari moved up to 69,000.
