Metaal was looking for some low cards to help improve his hand. Lucky for him, the turn was the and he hit two pair. The river changed nothing and Metaal doubled to 210,000. Mercier took a small hit and dropped down to 670,000.
Action folded to Fernando Brito in the hijack and he raised to 12,000. After two more folds, action reached Jason Mercier in the big blind and he simply moved all in. Brito called for his tournaments life.

Brito needed some help and his best shot was on the flop; however, the was of absolutely no help. The dealer burned and turned the , keeping Mercier in the lead. Brito was hoping for one last fling with lady luck but his hopes were dashed when the peeled off. Mercier added around 70,000 to his stack while Brito exited the $25,000 High Roller tournament.
Action folded to Matt Affleck in the hijack and he threw in a raise to 12,000. David "Bakes" Baker proceeded to make it 30,000 to go from the cutoff. The button folded and Daniel Alaei opted to move all in from the small blind for his last 90,000. Affleck quickly moved all in himself for 163,000 and Baker folded after a moment of deliberation.

Affleck was in a dominating position but not after the flop. Suddenly the tables were turned and Affleck needed to pair his pocket pair. He couldn't do it on the turn nor on the river. Alaei doubled to 220,000 while Affleck was left with just 73,000.
John Racener was all in preflop holding the and dominated by the of Moritz Kranich. Racener had been nursing a short stack throughout much of the day and desperately needed a double. Unfortunately for him the board ran out a rather dull and Racener was eliminated from the tournament. Kranich, on the other hand, is up to 226,000.
After a recent pass, we've noticed that Team PokerStars Pro (USA) Jason Mercier is sitting with a stack of 710,000. From what we gathered, Erik Seidel, who had invested 155,000 of his 345,000, six-bet folded after Mercier's seven-bet shove. Mercier is the clear chip leader.
Action folded to Rob Akery in the small blind and he raised to 8,000. Faraz Jaka responded by making it 27,000 from the big blind. Akery opted for a four-bet to around 110,000, Jaka moved all in for a total of 130,000, and Akery called.

Unfortunately for Jaka, he couldn't hit the board, lost the 270,000 pot, and was eliminated from the tournament. Likewise, PokerStars Team Pro (USA) Vanessa Rousso was unable to make a comeback from here short stack and was recently eliminated.
On a flop of , Surinder Sunar called all in for around 20,000 against Will Molson. Sunar was actually ahead with his but needed to dodge a heart or jack to survive. He did so on the turn, but was cut down when the spiked on the river and gave Molson a flush.
Sunar was eliminated on the hand while Molson climbed back up to 220,000.
