Max Lehmanski was under the gun and raised to 17,500 only to have Kim Frederiksen make it 48,000 to go from the hijack. Action folded to Michael Binger in the big blind and he slid his entire stack or 153,500 in the middle. Lehmanski folded while Frederiksen made the call:
Binger:
Frederiksen:
Binger was way ahead but the gave Frederiksen a flush draw. Binger survived the turn and just needed to dodge a diamond or ten on the river. When the peeled off, Binger took down the pot and increased his stack to around 330,000.
Scott Ward raised to 20,000 from middle position and action folded to Matt Wood in the small blind. He reraised all in and the big blind folded. After a minute in the tank, Ward called.
Ward:
Wood:
The board ran out and Wood hit the rail. Ward moved to 340,000 in chips.
Yuval Bronshtein raised from the cutoff seat to 20,500. Daniel Reijmer reraised all in from the small blind for 85,500. After a minute, Bronshtein made the call.
Bronshtein:
Reijmer:
The board ran out to give Reijmer the double up. Bronshtein dropped back to 145,000.
Daniel Reijmer just doubled up through Yuval Bronshtein a few moments before he got his money in once more. This time, he held pocket kings up against the for Sean Nolan. The board ran out and Reijmer made a full house to push his stack to 390,000.
Bruno De Oliveira Severino was all in preflop with and dominated by the of Grayson Ramage. The board ran out and De Oliveira Severino was eliminated from the PCA. Meanwhile, Ramage is up to 725,000.
Eddy Sabat opened to 18,000 from late position prompting Joel Patchell to three-bet to 51,000 from the blinds. Sabat then four-bet to 83,000, leaving 91,500 behind, and Patchell tank-called.
The flop fell , Patchell instantly moved all in and Sabat snapped it off.
Patchell:
Sabat:
The dealer began to burn and turn a card but the ESPN camera crews weren't ready yet and he put the burn card back on top of the deck. Finally, when cued, the dealer burned a card and turned the . There was then a pause for reaction shots, the crew gave one last cue and the dealer burned a final card and delivered the on the river.
Sabat's aces held doubling him to 355,000 chips while Patchell dropped to 245,000.
After the hand tablemate Ted Lawson asked for the floor because he thought Sabat made a string bet preflop. The entire table, including the dealer, defended Sabat saying he made no forward motion nor did he cross the line when cutting out chips. Lawson eventually waived a white flag and the floor was not called, but there is definitely some tension between he and the rest of the table.
Eric Froehlich was in early position and raised to 20,000. Action folded to Robert Akery in the small blind and he promptly raised around 30,000 more. Not to be deterred, Froehlich popped it an additional 80,000. Akery responded by moving all in for right around 600,000 while Froelich shrugged and called off his stack of 517,500. Just like that the pot had swelled to 1.15 million, creating what could be the biggest pot in the tournament thus far.
Froehlich:
Akery:
It was a classic race in a critical point of the tournament. The winner would be among the biggest stacks in the room while the loser would either be eliminated or crippled. The table was silent as the flop came down . Froehlich had hit a set but Akery could still catch a ten for a straight.
The dealer slowly burned and turned the , which gave Froehlich a full house and left Akery drawing dead. The was put out on the river for good measure but Akery was left with less than 100,000. Froehlich now sits with one of the biggest stacks in the room.
Adam Geyer just sent Asier Flores to the rail and boosted his stack to 1.3 million. Geyer held two kings, , against the for Flores. The money went in preflop and the board ran out .

The flop came down and Lewis checked. Sands bet 23,500 and Lewis called, delivering the turn card. Both checked, with the following on the river. Lewis bet 45,000 and after about two minutes Sands called, but mucked when Lewis turned over .
Lewis: Up to about 590,000
Sands: Down to about 456,000
Action folded around to Jiøí Kulhánek on the button and he raised to 18,000. David Robinson was in the small blind and three-bet to 48,000. Adam Geyer was in the big blind and flatted before Kulhánek also called.
The three players saw the flop come down and everyone checked to see the come out on the turn. Robinson checked and Geyer fired 80,000. Kulhánek mucked before Robinson stuck in the call.
THe hit the felt on the river and Robinson paused for a moment before checking to Geyer. The chip leader fired 115,000 with one smooth, two-handed motion. Robinson announced a call and Geyer turned up the for a set of nines. Robinson mucked his hand and was left with 250,000. Geyer is up to about 1.675 million. That's a rough estimate though as he's got a mountain of chips stacked in front of him and we can't quite see everything that's underneath on the bottom.
