Shak check-called 130,000 from Blom which brought the 
on the turn. Both checked quickly and the 
hit the river. Both checked again and Shak tabled 
for trips, taking down the pot.

The two gents are back in their chairs, and one of them is sporting some new gear. Viktor Blom has shown up for the duel in a pair of rose-tinted, white-rimmed sunglasses.
"Oh, we're goin' dark glasses now?" Shak noticed. "Okay." With that, he slipped his own pair of shades over his eyes. "Except I can't see with these on," he laughed, sliding them back on top of his head.

Dan Shak folded his button, and that was probably a very good idea. Viktor Blom raised to 150,000 in the small blind, and Galen Hall went ahead and shoved all in for 1.54 million from the big. Snap-call! Cards up.

"Those nines do hit though, don't they?" Hall asked rhetorically, hoping to conjure up a set. He could not. The board ran out 
, and that's that.
It's hard to say enough about Galen Hall's efforts here at the PCA. He won $2.3 million by binking the Main Event last time around, and this time, he was just two places from hoisting the Super High Roller trophy. He'll have to settle for a third-place consolation prize worth nearly a half-million dollars for now, but he'll be taking his seat in the Main again tomorrow with an eye on a repeat.

on the turn. Shak checked this time, leading to a Blom bet of 175,000. After a few moments Shak gave it up.
Dan Shak opened to 125,000, and Viktor Blom reraised to 350,000. Shak had a determined look on his face, and he grabbed his bet back and slid out two tall towers of green chips worth 1 million total. Blom shook his head and frowned, then quietly mucked.
