Busquet Doubles Through Grishin

"All in and call!" was the cry from the dealer at one of the tables. When we arrived there, we saw that Olivier Busquet was all in with the {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} against the {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for Dmitry Grishin.

The flop, turn and river ran out {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, and Busquet doubled up to about 300,000. Busquet was all in for 146,000 preflop, and Grishin was left with approximately 175,000.

Sabat Rolling

Picking up the action on a {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop, action was on Facundo Lambre. His bet of 7,500 was raised to 22,600 by Eddy Sabat, but Lambre came back over the top to 45,100. Sabat spent a few moments in the tank before pushing out a re-raise to about 82,000. Lambre folded pretty quickly and Sabat collected the pot.

Big Pot for Serock Against Kottler

On the {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop, Jeremy Kottler checked and Joe Serock fired 24,000. Kottler made the call, and the turn was the {2-Diamonds}. Kottler checked again, and Serock bet 57,500. Kottler called.

The {10-Spades} paired the board on the river, and Kottler checked. Serock fired 135,000, which sent Kottler into the tank for several minutes. Eventually, he made the call, but couldn't beat the {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} that Serock turned over.

Smith Doubles Through Kramer

We caught up to find Elliot Smith all in and at risk against the larger stack of [Removed:172]. The cameras descended upon the table and the hands were turned over:

Smith: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Kramer: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The board dropped down {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and Smith's aces were able to hold, securing his life in the tournament while at the same time taking a nice chunk out of Kramer's stack.

Volpe & Philachack Are Off To The Races

Andy Philachack opened for 6,800 from middle position only to have Paul Volpe three-bet all in for 73,500 from the button. Both blinds got out of the way and Philachack made a quick call with {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, which was racing agains the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} of Volpe.

The {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} didn't hit Philachack, but it did give him some counterfeit options. The {2-Spades} was uninspiring for Philachack, while the {5-Clubs} actually improved Volpe to a full house.

Meanwhile, Hoi Ting Lee has been eliminated from the tournament.
