King-High is Good

Joseph Cheong and Tobias Reinkemeier were heads up on a board of {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Cheong checked, Reinkemeier fired 7,600, and Cheong called.

The river was the {2-Hearts}, and Cheong tanked for a bit before checking. Reinkemeier checked behind, and tabled {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for king-high.

Frustrated, Cheong mucked.

On the {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, Vladimir Troyanovskiy fired a bet of 3,500, and Anthony Gregg made the call.

The turn was the {2-Spades}, and Troyanovskiy bet 11,000. Gregg made another call, and the river brought the {Q-Clubs}. Troyanovskiy checked, and Gregg bet 22,500. Troyanovskiy folded, and Gregg won the pot.

Wax Over Max For The Double

After a player had opened for 1,700, Matt Waxman shoved all in from the cutoff for 27,100. Max Silver then three-bet all in over the top from the button, the blinds and original raiser folded, and the cards were turned up.

Waxman: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Silver: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

It was a flip, and according to the PokerNews Odds Calculator Waxman was the 53.10% favorite to win the hand. That improved to 62.83% on the {2-Hearts}{10-Spades}{Q-Spades}, though Silver did pick up a gut-shot straight draw to go with his overs. The {2-Diamonds} was safe for Waxman, and it left Silver with a 22.73% chance of stealing the pot. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {5-Diamonds}. Waxman secured the double.

Meanwhile, both Matt Salsburg and Michael Tureniec have been eliminated from the tournament.

Vlad The Impaler

When we reached the table, there was 280,000 chips in the pot. The flop was {4-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades}, and an unknown player was all in and at risk with {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Vladimir Troyanovskiy, who recently final tabled the $100,000 Super High Roller, had him at risk with {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

The {6-Spades} on the turn was a brick, but the {7-Clubs} spiked on the river. The unknown player slammed the table angrily, then exited.

Troyanovskiy was all smiles, and for good reason - he now has close to 350,000 chips.
