Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi (Day 1)
Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi (Day 1)

We missed the action, but Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi was all in and at risk with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} against Micah Raskin's {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} on a board of {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}. The {5-Spades} spiked on the river, giving Raskin a flush, and Mizrachi was eliminated.

Raskin now has over 400,000 chips.

Hellmuth Eliminated

Phil Hellmuth - Eliminated
Phil Hellmuth - Eliminated

Joey Weissman raised to 6,200, and Phil Hellmuth reraised all in for his last 9,900 from the big blind. Weissman made the call with {A-}{5-} and was dominated by Hellmuth's {A-}{10-}.

Hellmuth stayed ahead on the flop, but the turn was a {5-} and that gave Weissman all he needed to send Hellmuth out the door as the river bricked off.

Silver Doubles As Gomes Misses Straight Draw

With 25,000 in the pot and a flop of {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, Max Silver got his stack of 88,500 all in holding the {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and was ahead of Alex Gomes' {6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. The latter was drawing to an open-ended straight draw, but neither the {4-Diamonds} turn nor {6-Spades} river completed it.

With that, Silver received a double while Comes was left to take inventory of his depleted stack.

Reinkemeier Doubles Through Bonomo

Tobias Reinkemeier checked with the board reading {4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs}, and Justin Bonomo moved all in for effectively 60,000 or so. Reinkemeier tank-called.

Bonomo turned over {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a pair of sixes, and Reinkemeier had that beat with {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for aces up.

He doubled to around 200,000 chips, while Bonomo is left with just 80,000.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and the river the {9-Clubs}. Steven stayed in front and doubled up to 146,000 in chips.
